    i was wondering what kind of oil everybody uses on 355??? i got 95 355 spider 6spd with 13ks on it????and also i need to touch up my wheels any good leads by the way i mean engine oil

    Most Dealers use Shell 5-40. I prefer Mobil 1, but you should be OK with any Non Dino Oil.

    I changed the oil of my 348 a few weeks ago. Ok, no 355..
    We loaded Mobil 1 0W40 in the reservoir...

    Believe me, I really notice, it runs like it never did, great stuff !

    In the US, you can only get the Castrol TWS 10W-60 through BMW dealers! I don't think we can get Formula RS. I use the TWS in the M car my wife drives.

    The factory recommended oil is Shell Ultra Helix 5w-40.

    I use Redline 5w40 for its higher boiling temp and I could get them within a few miles from my house.

    Although it is a little more expensive at $19-23 per liter most mechanics will confirm that the Shell Ultra Helix 5W-40 is the best. It is also the only fully synthetic motor oil recommended by Ferrari.
