Here is the interesting thing, I went to see the car yesterday and I fired it up and the ABS light went off? Everything seems to be working fine? I had already called for the tow truck and the shop told me that it is intermittent and would not recommend me to drive the car and that I could loose the brakes on my way home. So the car has been towed to another shop for another opinion. Unfortunately, they can't get to it for at least 2 weeks. If it is the pump, I will see if I can source a used one. Or try the one m.stojanvoic recommended? Not sure if anyone have tried it?
An update on my ABS issue. So the car got towed into another shop. They disconnected the main battery and reconnected it after letting it set. After they reconnected the battery they hooked up the scan tool to the computers. They said there were all kinds of error codes? They cleared the codes and the ABS light went away. They took it out for a test drive and everything was working as it should. They waited a while and test drove the car and everything was working fine no ABS light and the brakes felt normal. They parked it overnight and took it out for a 3rd test drive and all was well. I picked up the car that day and drove it and no issues. So I am not sure what the issue was and how it corrected itself? Thank you guys for all of your inputs as you guys are always helpful and gives me hope for keeping my car longer.
