Engine out "manual"

Hi Bengt, excuse me if my memory is poor, but you have a 348, right? If you go to www.my348.com, and scroll down a little ways to the table of contents, there's a link to 'Engine Removal' that takes you to a procedure for engine removal. I think there are also some threads on Fchat that have discussed it, so you may try a search. Hope this is what you're after.

 

I think Ernie also came up with the "Engine Removal" procedure didnt he?

 

Yes Pap! The first (long) procedure on my348.com that I referred to is called "Ernie's famous 2-jack method". Didn't recall that when I mentioned it. Thanks Ernie ... for this and a whole lot of other Brotherhood stuff!!

 

I'm planning on yanking out my engine again he soon, because it's due for the belt change (been almost 6 years). So when I do I'll post up another do-it-yourself but with pics this time.

But common Pap, after wrenching on the behemoths you work on the 348 should be a snap.
