In a prior post last fall I described an intermittent overheating light coming on. In response last time it was suggested that my problem was electrical and not a mechanical overheating situation. The problem went away for a while but has now returned. It is clearly electrical because the light comes on sometimes immediately after starting the car.

Can anyone tell me how many and the location of the sensors that I might check? Hopefully it is simply a matter of cleaning the connections.

Hi John, I'd suggest you post car/model/year - maybe start a new thread with a more complete title - will probably assist in getting the attention of those with knowledge of your vehicle type.

    Best of luck.
