    My car is a 2016 Cali T.

Purchased from Ferrari of Salt Lake City with 7K miles, purchased also New Power Warranty good for 2 years.
I love to drive so I now have 17K miles.

Lately I will push the engine start button and nothing happens. Push push push and nada. No engine start not even a click. And yes, I step very hard on the brake pedal to engage the brake switch.

I will turn off the car, let it sit for about 2 minutes, try again, and on the 3rd try engine will finally start.
It has done this 3 times now.

Being an electrical engineer, I know it could be anything. From a engine start switch going bad, brake pedal switch going bad, bad electric starter ground or engine starter relays going bad.

I already made an appointment with the dealer but wondering if anyone here has experienced similar issue and what they determined root cause was.

Many thanks in advance for any info you can share.

Same problem here. Dealer wants to replace bottom half of the wheel. Unfortunately most of that thread is for 1st gen California which has a slightly different wheel. If I was comfortable removing my wheel I'd have a look. Any other Cali T owners had this issue? Honestly I've come to hate this car simply because of the way Ferrari manages its parts system and support.

    Welcome to Ferrari ownership.......

I've had 3 Ferrari's now and owned each for 3 years.
    360 Spider, F430 Spider, California T.

Love these cars and the driving experience, & I can afford the maintenance & repairs but I simply got tired of reliability issues, build quality issues & the unappreciative dealer so after 3 years that was enough for me. Sold my Cali T a year ago now.

Last year I purchased a 2023 Lexus LC500 convertible and couldnt be happier with the build quality, predicted reliability and how the dealership treats me.

Not complaining or suggesting anything, just sharing my personal experiences.

    Dan
