    I wonder what would be involved in reversing the position of the Engine Start switch with the Reverse switch.

    My logic is that you only need the engine start switch once each tine you drive the car, while when, for example, parallel parking you might need to reverse several times.

    Seem to me that it would be easier to reverse into a parking place or garage if the reverse switch was on the steering wheel.

    You cannot engage reverse unless the car is at a standstill and the brakes are applied anyway so there is no danger of engaging reverse while driving forward.

    Lengthening and shortening the appropriate wire harnesses would be a problem, but it should be doable.

    I know that with the 355 F1 reversing into a parking place is a pain with the lift and pull switch on the console

    Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
