Sorry I missed this until now. Admittedly, I am not familiar with jurisdiction limits of local, state or federal branches of our law enforcement. I would have clearly made a mistake and called the wrong people. My apologies for angering you Brian.

At least you were familiar with California law about reporting damage greater than $500 (I believe this is the reporting limit). Surely you you knew to call the local law enforcement then on this one rather than the FBI. You're a good man.

 

Oh, well then you will be happy to supply me with the names of those involved as well as their drivers license numbers, the VINs, plate numbers, vehicle descriptions of both cars, the location and particulars of the accident so I can run this fools errand of yours.

I have no evidence it did not happen in his garage.

Might I suggest you go back to post #46 in the thread and look at what I wrote. Ask yourself if I deserved your "Get real" comment and tone.

You know Brian, with your attitude and tantrums, sometimes I wonder if people would even want you here if you couldn't turn a wrench on a Ferrari. I have the feeling that if you were turning them on Fords, people's noses wouldn't be buried quite as far in your tail end.

Looks like it is time for them to be forming another entity under a different name...

 

Won't matter. He didn't pay sales tax or employee tax witholding. Cal FTB is like the Terminator. They make the IRS look like a bunch of Boy Scouts. Unless he gets a front man they will not let him operate unless he keeps them happy with payments.

 

True. I know of someone who tried to get away without paying the sales tax on the purchase of his 2005 F430. Needless to say, it didn't go over well with the FTB. Now he's got a fat tax lien and penalties. Tax liens are a matter of public record and they become a part of your credit report. I suspect his wages are being garnished.

 

There's people out there looking for their cars. I'm just trying to facilitate this process.

 

That was what I was referring to. From Moda to Enigma, then perhaps to another name. All they need is to find a different guy to register a new company and they are back in business.

 

SCARY! I hope their "new guy" does his due diligence.

 

I remember I actually saw these guys pull up to Yoshi's in SF on Persian New Year. They had three lambos, all in M&M colors...orange, yellow, and green.
