My cousin was pretty happy last year when he bought his 458 as a sort of 60th birthday present to himself. Two months ago he was diagnosed with cancer. One month ago he went into the hospital. This weekend he passed away. Shine up your Ferrari, admire its beauty...but don't forget to drive it while you can.
I learned this lesson myself. Three months after getting a new F430 spider I was in the hospital with a Dr saying if I left that night I'd be dead in a week. The next day -- quad bipass. I was lucky but it's a valuable lesson to be learned. No one ever said on their death bed "I wish I drove my Ferrari less".
Very sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing. This year my father-in-law passed away and a month later my brother's wife's dad also passed away all of sudden. That's what led me to buy my 458 Spider and I'm enjoying it everyday I'm only 42 and realized life can end at any moment. When I was 6, I escaped from Vietnam after the war in a small wooden boat packed full of people. I fell in the Indian Ocean and should have drowned. But someone rescued me. I really shouldn't be here to enjoy this moment. When I see these refugees from Syria risking their lives to make a life for themselves, it reminds me how lucky we have it here. Enjoy every moment.
Sorry to hear about your loss. Just got into an accident an hour ago. Not big but shows how fast it could go.
Enjoy every moment we have. Life is but a vapor. I am sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family at this time.
Sorry to hear of the losses in your family. I hope everyone enjoys each passing day as you only live once so make the most of it.
So sorry for your loss. This is unfortunately the reality of life. A reminder of our mortality. Life is no dress rehearsal. Live everyday like its your last.
We so often presume that tomorrow will be like today, and then. I wish you and your family the best. Glad he had the chance to realize the dream. Best
