    Just a quick 'thank you' to everyone in the DFW area who I met and hung out with on a few occasions since moving to the area after fleeing hurricane Katrina.

    I have been here since the storm and felt very welcome in your community. Luckily I visit the area a couple of times a year, so I will surely be back! From the phone calls immediately after the storm to the many offers of providing a place to stay for a few days it was all above and beyond.

    I drive back home to New Orleans tomorrow and will be moving into a new abode:)

    If anyone feels like making a Mardi Gras trip to the 150th Mardi Gras culminating on Fat Tuesday(Feb.28th) shoot me an email or give me a buzz on the cell phone.

    Why are you moving into a new place? I didn't think your old building was damaged too badly, after you posted the emails from the people who lived in your building. Those stories were really interesting.

    You are correct, the place I was in previously ended up 100% unscathed. Only reason for the move was to accomodate a college buddy turned New Orleans public school teacher as a roommate.

    Had a bunch to do today, so I'll be officially out of here tomorrow A.M. :)

    Thanks for staying in Ft Worth John & was great to finally meet you. . Sorry we couldn't hang out a bit more, I could have shown you all the great places Ft. Worth has to offer I've been thinking about playing golf again, I'll jeep ya posted.

    Excellent choice on picking up the sticks. If we can convince Rob to do so it would be a miracle!

    Not sure when I will be back in town next, but whenever it is I'll try to convince you to get on over to the range or play a quick 9, at minimum!
