    Greetings folks,

Anybody know where I can buy an enzo that is priced close to MSRP? I believe most dealers and ferrari folks bought them at sticker price for only 675 grand.

I'm looking at an '05 Murcie as well, priced right, fast and look better then an enzo, imho. Been considering an F-car for quite sometime and I'm ready to pull the f*cking trigger.. :p

    Thank you very much.

Enzo's prices are just a supply/demand issue and nothing else

I think you'll need more than luck or input from this board to find an Enzo at close to sticker that doesn't have a story.
Buying a brand new Murcie doesn't make alot of sense if you can get a showroom new one in your choice of color, with a few hundred miles, and tens of thousands in savings.
If you are not enamoured of the Enzo, why buy it?
There are plenty of other cars that I would buy for that kind of change, including certain vintage ferraris, or a McLaren.
Not questioning your bona fides at this point, but would assume that if you have that kind of dough, you're not stupid with your money....

I'm inclined to agree that it's a supply-demand issue. Hence, the outrageous, unrealistic price of used enzo's.

Give me a good reason to buy an enzo? Why should I pay 100% over MSRP? What is so special about it and I've heard the car designer is non-italian?

I've been considering an F-car for quite some time now and to be honest, I'm not thrilled with the new Ferraris (360 modena, 550 maranello). No offence, to late model F-car owners, they lack the "Ferrari-ness" of the 512tr, 355, F50,etc.

If your are not willing to spend the market price on an enzo and are willing to buy a Murcielago. Why not buy an F50? Its not a million dollars, but it is a super car where the Lamborghini is not. Plus, Ferraris are always going to hold their value better than any Lamborghini.

is it worth the money? to me it is. to about almost everyone else on this board it is. to you? maybe not. based on ur previous comments i would say that ur not willing to put out that type of loot for that car. so why not go for a 288GTO or F40 if you dig that earlier styling and want a ferrari supercar. what about a 512M. thats a somewhat exclusive car (500 worldwide) with the earlier styling that you seem to like.

the prices are obviously not unrealistic nor outrageous since people pay that much for those cars. the price of the enzo is just outrageous for you.

go and check one out in person and get a ride if you're really that serious about buying one; maybe that will change ur opinion

couldnt have said it better myself.

and trying to decide between a murc and an enzo, isnt that like trying to decide between a 550 and a mclaren? different cars for different purposes

This guy is a joke and I cant even believe we are entertaining this. First of all this guy just wants something flashy to drive around and probably will end up stuffing it in a wall or wrapping it around a tree. Dont even talk of a 288 GTO or an F40 cause this guys needs power windows probably and wouldnt even appreciate what those cars do for a driver.

My advice is buy the Murcie and get some chrome wheels cause you sound like that kinda guy and if you want I will give you some track instruction so you learn how to drive. I have been an instructor for the Lambo club and those guys are almost as bad as drivers as the M3 and M5 club.

Stay away from the Enzo, those are for big boys that know the car inside and out and appreciate the great lengths Ferrari went through to develop the car. I bet this guy doesnt even know what Formula 1 is either.

Ferrari is for people with passion and Lamborghini is for people with large wallets. I think we know which one you are.

Jeez, you certainly fell out the wrong side of the bed eh! I think you're comments are just a tad harsh mate and if anyone deserves a rippin its you for slagging off drivers just as a result of the vehicle they own, i mean come on man!!!!

Whats all this crap about Ferraris - passion and Lamborghini - large wallets, calm yer knickers mate is all i can say!!

If you think the guy "is a joke", fair enough but keep it to yourself. Doubt you'd be saying that if he was your next door neighbour eh!

    Too opinionated!

I think the point that he was trying to make is that we all pretty much know that it' s a bullsh*t post. I don't believe that anyone who is seriously in the market for an Enzo and is going to fork out almost 1 million of his hard-earned dollars, is going to start off by asking for reasons as to "why an Enzo?"

    Hi Bernie,

Thats fair enough but I dont understand why someone would just start up a thread like this. I'm sure there are some Enzo owners that bought the car not out of passion but for other reasons.

Also not really agreeing with his judgment of Lambo/Bmw drivers etc, bit mad!!

    Cheers

Most people who are "given" a slot for an Enzo have enourmous sums of money and are buying the Enzo because they are Ferrari enthusiasts and are people of stature. Therefore, if you have an enourmous amount of money, 20 cars, a mansion, would you sell your Enzo to make a couple hundred grand? I'd keep mine thank you.
So out of the 349 or so Enzos out there, there's only a handful for sale on the market at a time. Think of all the qualified millionaires that didn't get a slot who want to have an Enzo and you can justify the 1.2M price tag.

I second that. Find a better way to spend your money if you have to sacrifice having such an ugly auto ( Enzo ) in your garage. Use the million to get some lessons in style, culture, art, impact in history.

I can respect anyone having an opinion to what suits them visually. However you boast how you are going to be spending such money in a forum that is filled with people who would love to see such a car in person just once. You make statements that going out and fetching a Lambo is so easy in front of guys who sacrifice everything to fill up the gas tanks in their beat up 308s and Mondials. Post with a little more respect for yourself and others.

For those who insult Lambo as cars for those with big pockets and no class, get a clue. I doubt Jose Canseco and Paris Hilton are Lambo's only customers.

OpenWheelRacer: I had to do a double take on the M3? because it looked like a red leather top for second. The lighting makes it look more satin than gloss.. i dont know, it looked like leather... maybe im hallucinating.

Onesto308: I was poking back at Openwheelracer after he dumped on M3's and Lambo's in the same post. But the pic is mine, not his, and those cars are in my garage. The M3 is sporting the factory hardtop that's an option for the cabrio. Since i live in the NE, it makes sense....
