This figure sounds absurd. Maybe I missed something, but I thought they stopped selling that far over MSRP many months ago?

Yeah, that is pretty much what I told the guy. Then I told him to knock $600K off and I'd be happy to talk to him. ;)

A buddy on vacation visited that dealership & said there was a line to get in. They were charging $10 & people were lined up to pay. That whole town is one big show.

They had three at World Wide Cars when I got my O2 sensors changed, all in for service, no ropes fencing them off, no $10 fees to walk up to them, damn I had no idea what a bargain I was getting. They also have a F50 in the showroom as well as several F40s and F50s out back in for either service work or detailing, who knows. Go behind their building there are always 60+ Ferraris sitting around like nothing, you can look for free.

Same thing with FoA and Steve Harris Imports last time I was at both. FOA had a 288GTO, F40, and Enzo in the showroom with an F50 around the side, and SHI had all but the F50 in the service bay... FoLV seems to be nothing more than another tourist attraction.

For those that have been into the dealer at the hotel, how snooty are the sales people? Do they carry an 'attitude' or are they 'nice guys'? I'd have to think they get bent with all the tire kickers Vs the customers that have to make a trip to drive to a stand-alone dealer.

F them--Everybody stop going in there. I would NEVER buy a car from a dealer who wants to charge me a walk in fee. Hopefully guys who are serious about buying Fcars will take there business elsewhere if thats the way they treat people who just want to look and admire a beautiful car.

I don't think real buyers go there anyways. I think they just prey on big ego wanna-be high rollers who know little to nothing about the cars who are making impulse buys. Kinda like when you're at the grocery store, and in the checkout line they have that rack of candy that you can't resist. Well, FoLV is the Wynn's rack of candy.

I was not a buyer (at least not yet) but everyone there seemed to be nice enough when I was there. They didnt charge the money to get in but you did have to sign in before you walked around. The line was just for crowd controll there isnt a lot of room for tons of people to be roaming around in the dealership.

Looks like no one bought Axl's 575 yet. Bad karma I guess.

Bad karma? Perhaps, but from what I can tell GNR is having a huge resurgence right now -- I keep hearing Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine and Paradise City on the radio. In Dallas, it was like 1992 again! I think it has to do with their tie-in to the soundtrack of GTA:San Andreas. Licensing their songs to that was a great move.

Seeing as he ended up with enough money to purchase an Enzo, I would guess "no."

One just auctioned for $1.05, and asking on another at Continental is 1.05. I think we'll hit $1m soon.

When they opened in April, Steve Wynns Black Enzo was only $1.4 Million. It is Gone.

Has the Enzo Market "Bottomed" out ? lol

After numerous E-mails & Phone Calls, they Dropped the Admission Fee in June.I know 1 of their Salesman (formerly of Towbin Bentley).
He is an OK guy. Some of the others aren't !!!
Their Service Dept is Clean, but VERY $$$$$$$$$$$$$

FYI : I was told that the 30K on a 355 MUST be performed every 3 years !!!

    Yeah

The black one belongs to the now half-blind Steve Wynn.

(Wait, I'm talking to NNO. "Well, no ****, sherlock".)

I'll give credit to Ryan Donhogue (sp?) who works in sales there. He's just an everyday guy who's an enthusiast. I met him several times and talked cars with him for 30 minutes or so just a few days ago. Theres another guy in there thats not high on my list attitude wise, but Ryan is a great guy.

Here is what I know. Now this is a unique dealership to say the least and to be totally honest its difficult for them just to take a potential customer out for test drives because they have probably 5000 people coming in and out of the doors of that joint every day. It wouldn't surprise me if they get 20 pretenders in there everyday asking to drive cars or whatever so it must be difficult to weed out whose the real deal and whose not.

Their allocation is not as great as you might think. Sure Penske pulls some weight, but its not the 90 car allocation like certain FL or CA dealers, FNA still has the good ol boy network. There are no new cars in there, its all used stuff, but thats to be expected when it comes to any Ferrari dealer barring the occasional slow moving 612. They have a few new Masers in there. It seems to work like most dealerships in that,in order to get on the list you have to either buy a used car or two from them or trade something in they want. Try to trade in a used car more than a few years old and they don't want it. It has to be the latest and greatest or don't bother. Thats the tough one, because unless you have a 575 or 360 spider in your posession, you're not going to get a trade in. Thats what the Vegas market wants, the newest to show off, not yesterdays old news.

In contrast Lambo of Las Vegas will take older cars. This operation is runned by Symbolic of La Jolla, CA. Plus they have brand new Lambos in stock to drive out the door today if you wanted too. Quite a difference. Penske Wynn is still one of the coolest place around, but I wish it was maybe off site instead. It seemed like a major inconvenience just to get downstairs to the other showroom of cars thats not open to the public, that would never happen at a regular dealership, but because of the crap Penske/Wynn has to deal with its different. The guy almost seemed extremely rushed to make sure there was coverage on the floor for the masses of people going around and then he proceeded to push all these secured buttons through self locking doors and then just left me downstairs by myself while he ran back upstairs. So much for the personal customer service and I'm both a Ferrari and Maserati customer who could buy something off the floor if I wanted to.

The bottom line is money talks and with probably 150,000 people walking through that dealership a month, thats about the only way you can weed out those who are serious and those who are not.
