This is a repeat, but Richard has 2 sets of doors for his Enzo, one set for nice weather, and another for when it gets colder in the fall in northern Utah.

If you compare the photos to that of a standard Enzo, you'll see he's also added a black stripe down the side of the car up the front edge of the air intake, which looks really nice in my opinion. Look at the 3rd and 4th pictures above, though they're not the best views of the stripes.

Hmm thats interesting, thanks for pointing it out! Do you know his reasoning for putting that on? Still trying to decide if I like it or not...

No, I have no idea why he added the stripes, just a personalization I guess.

I don't think the stripe is very successful. It ends awkwardly and breaks up the graphics of the car. I like the doors though as I'm partial to open top cars.

I'll vouch for the pictures. I took the first three. It was a beautiful car. I've just been watching them making the rounds on the internet. I didn't know they would be so popular.

I hadn't seen those pictures yet, but I remember the thread about the convertible Enzo. I think it looks pretty good. The black stripe doesn't look that bad in my opinion. Can someone explain how he puts the other doors back on in winter? Do they have an extended "roof" portion?

I think I like it. I wonder what an extra set of custom doors for the Enzo cost.....like a whole 328?

How does he put the doors on? He takes it to Steve Harris Imports in Salt Lake and says "put the other doors on". Har Har.

The other doors have the roof section still intact, by the way.

You know....if it's the 'open air' feel he's after....why not just drive it without any doors at all, like a Jeep? Now THAT would be something at 150mph.

the stripe is reminicent of the white/silver stripe on the early press car offered to journalists at the Ferrari factory

The Enzo uses two pivot points for the doors, no? Right by where the side view mirror is (on normal cars), and at the top, where the side window meets the roof, I think.

With only one pivot point, Isn't that going to take a big hit on the support of the doors? Did he/she have extra bracing/strengthening done on that one pivot point?
