With regard to the recent Enzo crash, which do you find the most surprising?

  1. Alcohol may have been involved.

  2. The Enzo did not catch on fire.

  3. The Enzo split in two.

  4. The occupant(s) survived with only a minor cut.

  5. Sweden has a mafia.

I am equally surprised that the guy survived and that Sweden has a mafia.

Actually, there is only one true Mafia, which is Sicilian. The rest, including all other Italian organized crime groups go by other names. 'Ndrangheta, for example, is the Calabrian organized crime organization. Another would be La Camorra originating from Naples.

Hence, no Russian Mafia, no Jewish Mafia, and yep, you've guessed it, no Swedish Mafia.

    They're just wiseguys...

A Swede and alcohol involved. No surprise for this Danish guy here ;)

I see A LOT of Swedish cars on the motorway not far from here when they have been in Germany picking up cheap alcohol.

While I'm very surprised the guy survived, I'm not the least bit surprised to hear of a robust and healthy underworld in a land with 60%+ tax rates.

The Enzo did explode immediately after it hit the pole. Fireball about 20 feet high and 4 lanes wide. Burned out in about 5 minutes. Of course the front part was several hundred feet further down the road, so it didn't burn.

    This is first hand.

Never expected to see anyone alive in the car after the crash. Most amazing thing I ever witnessed.

Where is the fuel tank located in an Enzo and is it regular tank or some type of fuel cell?

I'm surprised how he find that pole in the middle of nothing, and how he hit it sideways exactly behind the cabin...

Interesting. Anyone notice how many new "first poster" people this incident brought to the board? Like this guy for example.

Can't be arsed to count first-time posters, but first-time visitors were up markedly.

    http://www.web-stat.com/stats.shtml?ferrarichat

Yesterday's numbers in italics, compared to previous busy day of this month - culled from 3 of first 4 charts entitled:
"Visitor sessions over the last 30 days"
    Feb 21 --- Feb 8
    17910 - 13367 = 4543 more sessions

"Repeat visitors over the last 30 days"
    Feb 21 --- Feb 8
    62% 11135 - 70% 9458 = 1677 more repeat visitors

"First-time visitors over the last 30 days"
    Feb 21 --- Feb 8
    37% 6775 - 29% 3909 = 2866 more first-time visitors

"Traffic since tracking began" is 4th chart down.
Overall, for a single day, it looks like F-Chat had 1800-2000 more visitors than previous record from mid-year 2005.
