RIP to the poor soul. I do believe this is an Enzo. -Wheel with center hub match -Location of fuel cap match -Rear Driver side lower quarterpanel in front of the rear wheel is identical in dimensions, shapes, angles. -Recess above front of Rear Driver side lower quarterpanel where the driver door starts is identical also Just my humble opinion. No wait! Before we lock/delete this reposted bbulllshheeyit, let's argue for 18 pages about what kind of car...who was he...maybe a drug dealer.........not a real Ferrari driver..........all that stuff! We'll be INTERNET COOL TEENAGERS! WOW! C'MON GUYS!!! Ya'll WITH ME????? Naw... *kicking him* He's still dead...........no fun here.
You know, the only person I relate to in this chit chat is the idiot driver, who died doing exactly what he wanted to be doing at the time of his death (and he didn't kill anyone but himself did he? I've lost track). Being an egotistical SOB myself, with too much money and absolutely no regard for the public's safety because I drive a FERRARI, I went into an S turn one night at over double the speed limit. I'd forgotten about it being there. WOW! Thankfully, I didn't kill a family in a head-on, as I needed both sides of the two lane when I came out of the first part of the S turn at 140. And then as I hit the second turn at 125, less than 100 yards away, there wasn't an elk in the road that would've ended up in my face! As I drove out of that "situation", I thought about what I'd have done IF there'd been an oncoming car (I'd have died instantly, veering into a rock face at 140 and sparing the oncoming car) or if an Elk or Moose had been there (I'd have died instantly and only momentarily felt bad about the wildlife before it crushed me in my seat...damn animals!). Ultimately, people would have read in the newspaper about me, the stupid __hole who died doing exactly what he wanted to be doing - without any common sense or concern about anyone's life but his own. How American is that? I've slowed down since then. Now, remembering that the S is there, I take it usually at 65-80 in fifth gear, so I can accelerate out of it with a smile on my face, remembering the night it almost got me! Someday...somewhere...I'll die with a smile on my face. Hopefully, it'll be in a nursing home with some hot chick checking up on me once a day if I'm lucky.
Yes you are, and your sentiment is touching. Most offensive post in this thread. Someone's dad/son/husband/SO DIED here. Could have been a Kia, could have killed a busload of others. You seem like a self-indulgent poltroon, really.
I've seen a few (maybe a hundred, but very few at this speed) accident reconstructions, and the thing that strikes me (about your various hypotheses) is -the multiple swerving scenario would suggest a lot of skidding, but here the scant skid or scuff marks suggest other possibilities...such as a catastrophic failure like a drive shaft or broken wheel, or something that catapulted the car into a roll...maybe a tyre explosion from hitting debris or tire hitting wheel well at high speed...although I don't recall ever seeing a tyre ripped apart in that manner (straight across the tread)...also the relatively compact debris field, again in middle of road, suggests catastrophic failure... -as for hitting something on the side of the road like a sign, going right off the road and hitting something, in that event the odds of the debris ending up in the middle of the road is remote. -tyres don't seem to show any scalloping, suggesting it was not subjected to multiple revolutions of scuffing (as in a wildly swerving situation). Anyway, a good reconstructionist will examine all surfaces of the tyres and vehicle as well as road surface and debris field, and ID crash surfaces, perform failure analysis of parts, etc, to perform a crash analysis. It is interesting so see, but in a scientific analysis, we usually have dozens or even hundreds of pics to study. Bottom line, any analysis here is very superficial, based almost totally on speculation. In the process, it would be easy to disparage reputations and so forth, so I will not speculate further out of respect for those involved. My prayers for the friends and family. Peace be with you. I hope that soul was saved.
okay okay I get it. Sorry I didn't search the archives. I was bout to leave for school and wanted to know what the deal with it was. Call me a childish teeneage or ban me, but come on, if you don't want to see it again because Im the dumbass that reposted it, don't read it. This may be the first thing ive reposted.
Who cares if he is dead? seriously!? He was probably blackberrying his boyfriend and drinking a crappochino! Thank god for trees! 150mph + italian little man heals = oops!

Australian gun ban: 1996 In 2000, -Countrywide, homicides are up 3.2 percent; -Assaults are up 8.6 percent; -Armed robberies have climbed nearly 45 percent; -In the Australian state of Victoria, gun homicides have climbed 300 percent; -In the 25 years before the gun bans, crime in Australia had been dropping steadily; -There has been a reported "dramatic increase" in home burglaries and assaults on the elderly. The black market has imported over 1 million semi-automatics, the type which was targeted by the weapons ban. I live in Florida, BTW, and when our CCW (that's the Carry Concealed Weapon Law that gave us the right to carry, not priveledge to carry) went into effect, crime went down.
Car: 2004 Ferrari Enzo Description: 41 year old driver was killed after losing control of his Enzo at 150 MPH. The impact was so great that it tore the car into several pieces. Locals reported having seen and heard an Enzo being driven very hard the day before. Most likely it was the same car. Accident happened on October 30th, 2005.
