Hey! Great candid pic of the Eriksson wreck! I think the wide-screen virsion shows the SLR speeding off and Dietrich running up the hill! ...The Jack. Its always the Jack... Sad, how they always break in half like this... Regards Image Unavailable, Please Login
Okay, for my first post without much substance I must reply: BWAHAHAHA! Great post. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Wide screen version might even be a better laugh so post it if you can!
I think the photographer must have just been in the right place at... ... ... Hey, wait a minute... I think this is a cake! Regards
Funny this thread should be back at the top. I was forwarded one of those chain emails today that happened to contain photos from the Eriksson accident. The description included was something for Snopes.com - kid takes his father's Enzo, crashes it with 9 miles on the odometer, etc. I sent back a link to one of the actual news articles that described the real crash details in an effort to squelch the bogus story, but I suspect it will do very little good. Look for it coming soon to an email inbox near you. >8^) ER
i just purchased my 348ts and someone sent me that email. i thought it was a hoax too. later i read about the Erickson scandel on the internet and the pixs where the same. Can anyone send me the thread to that crash on this board? sorry i'm feeling lazy to do the search myself, i'm too busy finish this one. chow
I read a post somewhere of another Enzo driver who got killed in the USA. His name was Gary Irwin Eisenberg. His car catched fire soon after hitting a tree not far from home. May he rest in peace.
another crash from the past (Dec 04) but the case is finally hitting the UK courts http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=457437&in_page_id=1770&ito=newsnow I rather like the quote from the bus drivers wife: 'You couldn’t have been in an accident with anything cheap could you?'" http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/news/tm_headline=this-is-gonna-cost--mate----&method=full&objectid=19194581&siteid=66633-name_page.html Quote: He said: "There's no doubt my Ferrari Enzo was the worst thing the bus driver could have encountered coming the other way. " "There couldn't have been a more expensive vehicle for miles" - no kidding
We know he's guilty of killing a Ferrari type "animal" on the endangered species list! That is a highly punishable crime....
Mr. Eisenburg had MANY friends here on the board, by geography of his residence, in So Cal Section. The end of that story is that the autopsy showed him passing before the crash....so it was not car related at all......
dont care, dont mean that to sound offensive but a car is a car. I'm sure there have been probably some enzo crashes that none of us no about, whether they be minor or major.
