I haven't heard anything about the Eddie Griffin Enzo lately. I don't know if someone bought it, but if it's still for sale, it should be relatively inexpensive. Call Matthew's Auto Sales in Houston, Texas.

You should pm ZiadR.. he was trying to sell an Enzo out of Lebanon.

It will be interesting to hear what has happened to it. It was apparently held by customs.

The problem i see is that "cheap" for a wrecked enzo im guessing is north of 500K which at that point i would rather get a Scuderia, 16M, or for that matter ANY other ferrari, You could get a nicely sorted F40 for another 100K or so, or a F50 for about 650. The damaged enzo is 500K starting then add GOD knows what, you could easily run into 1.8-2M. And you will never get it back. I can see why Richard L. is redoing his enzo, it has alot of history with him, and most likely will never be sold, just passed on (much like Jim and his P4/5) both endeavors are not cost effective, and you need to have for lack of better words a open check book with over 5M to make it happen. And even then what do you have? the P4/5 is a different story because it was a Clean enzo that was redesigned in EVERY aspect. and improved. And as you can see from MM enzo, the CF work is insane, also god forbid the engine and electronics are in a state of disrepair. If you think about it the Enzo (or any car for that matter) is always worth more in its parts than its sum as a singular unit. I would think HEAVILY before committing to a project of this magnitude, you will need experts in CF, Engine, transmission, body, and structure, and it will take hundreds of hours to complete. If you do do this, best of luck and please keep us apprised of how it goes. But i think you can get a better bang for your buck by buying a new Scud where you will have more fun just waking up in the morning and being able to drive it. - Joe

The repaired Enzo in Houston TX may be your best bet. I saw the car, and it drives well. There's a thread here about it. I suspect you can get it for around $800K. If you find an Enzo less than that, I suspect your going to be over $800K just to get it like the Houston TX Enzo. The parts are very expensive, and CF repair is not cheap when done correctly, especially for structural elements.

Also, keep in mind that a repaired Enzo will likely re-sell for much less than you spent buying and reparing the car, if you care about that.

Pretty much right on the money here, it took myself and two others guys over seven months working on weekends to do the CF repair on MM Enzo. You can't even imagine how much is being spent on replacement parts! We got EXTREMELY lucky in that the bodywork came from Jim G's Enzo and we didn't have to buy it all from Ferrari. I have seen price lists that are jaw dropping... the decklid alone is >$50k. That's not even to mention labor and good CF work doesn't come cheap, I'm pretty expensive :) There is no cheap or cheaper way to put in an Enzo in the garage.

Not to mention the Karma that occurred when you combined the MM Enzo with P 4/5's original body.

damn, so much money spent!! enzos are awesome, but i dont want to pay anywhere near a mill for a car... i must settle for something else unless a clean one comes up for grabs. Prob with cars, they are a money pit.

Well the tub repair is done and yes the repair was north of $10K, the raw material alone was close to that price. Between the different style/weight of weaves, honeycomb core, adhesives and resins the world of CF is a pricey one.
