Enzo engine air box question

    I did some searching but couldn't seem to find what those panels are below the air filter boxes on the Enzo. They sit right below the air box and right above the exhaust manifolds. They appear to be carbon fiber sides with aluminum or steel ends, kind of like a radiator core set up. Are these cooling or insulation panels for the air boxes? For the longest time they looked like radiator cores in the photos I've seen. I still haven't seen the engine up close with the cover up or had the chance to ask despite seeing two in person on the east coast. Am I on the right track or are they something else? I have a great shot of the open bay as my desktop at work.

    Awe cool! Thanks so much. I can see the structure now with those photo angles. Man that rocks. So then those are carbon box sections of the frame with heat shields attached. Love it.
