Yes, we visited the site this past summer during our trip to Italy. Construction was well under way but scheduled opening early this year seemed unlikely. Coincidentally, the museum is within sight and easy walking distance of the main Maserati factory there in Modena. I got the impression it would be an exceptionally nice facility and well worth a visit when completed.

As a professional museum designer, I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I'm intrigued by an interpretive approach that focuses on the man and—while integral to his life story—not so much on the cars. Will probably swing by this year during our usual summer vacation.

Agreed that the approach on the man and his times is an interesting angle. Remember that there was a lot he did before starting his own car company. Alfa, non-Alfa racing efforts, AAC 815, motorcycles and his machine tool business.

Looking forward to reports on how the museum and the content comes off.
