ENZO how quick?

He was probably only toying. I know thats what I would do

Though that guys sig says he has the first twin-charged IS300 so that also might be why.

EDIT I just read through some of that thread and boy do a lot of them know nothing about the Enzo. I just think they dont know the power potential of the Enzo and how capable it is. Stock IS300 besides an intake and exhaust does more the double the 0-60 time of an Enzo. Even with a bad launch and Enzo would smoke it, but its not a big deal the Lexus will never be a Ferrari even if that guys twin-charged IS300 beats the Enzo in a straight line.

I assumed the Enzo driver was just playing games

Didn't waste my time reading the post, just the first few responses.

Mind you a bunch of IS300s are running out there on the 2JZE engine platforms (same as MKIV Supras)with some nice turbo upgrades. Not saying this story is entirely true but there are a bunch of IS300s out there that would walk enzos. Modifed vs stock that is.

There is a modified everything that could take an Enzo at this point, but the idiocy and ignorance of that thread is kind of scary. 14 or 15 seconds from bad launch? When that car has a bad day it runs mid 11s.

 

Do keep in mind that the is300 platform is a direct bolt on for a supra tt engine. 1100 hp is not unachievable. Not the same as the fcar but not impossible.

I guarantee you the Enzo was not racing his car against the lexus.

The Enzo owner might launch and drive the car hard just for the hell of it and for the fun of it. But he isnt going to burn any fuel trying to prove anything for a Lexus owner.

It would be disgraceful. It would be like a NBA pro slam dunking all the time when he is playing against a bunch of six year olds.

I have to say, one of the funniest things I've read in absolutely ages! Hahaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Now - I'm off to get some ambient LED lighting for my 355, oh - and maybe some bouncy strobe effect shocks too. And while i'm at it, I think I might bolt on a superturboallwheeldrive16vhighcamlettuceandtomato charger to my air-con. That's bound to make it 8 seconds faster than Enzo on the 1/4.

 

Completely agree. And if the Enzo driver even had a thought to race a Lexus, ugh... he deserves respect for being able to purchase such a wonderful car but the methods he drives it maybe not so much. You have the right but why make a spectacle of something that isn't really there or worth it. As one post already mentioned, NBA quality vs grade school, why bother? This thread sucks... But speaking of which, I was racing a Boeing 777 in my H2 and it seems as if I beat him up to 65 mph, I was quite surprised the jets didn't have more thrust and didn't leave me.
