With that money you buy two Enzos in almost any other country.

    Regards.

2 Million is a lot of money.....no doubt. However the Enzo is almost priceless in a way, atleast until something out there tops it.

Probably stating the obvious to all of you, but the higher prices are due to the importing country's taxes.

a korean friend of mine told me about how the last time he was there, he was surprised at how different the prices of alot of the luxury cars were compared to the U.S. like a base model E-class Benz which goes for ~$50k here was in the $80-90k range over there

in malaysia, taxes for foreign cars, especially luxury cars, are 300%. this means an Audi A8, costs almost 1.5 mil malaysian ringgit, but in actual costs, without the tax, it's only about 600k malaysian ringgit. the exhange rate for US$ and malaysia is 3.8 means, $1 equals to 4 malaysian ringgit.

well, thats 1 way my govt. is using to encourage locals to buy local cars. they hike the taxes of luxury overseas cars, and sell local cars cheaply. over here, a 360 costs almost 1.5 mil malaysian ringgit. divide by 4 equals to US$ 375000...pretty sucks huh...
