So what exactly is the consensus gentlemen? Does the F-car community basically like or dislike the Enzo shape? Let's take a poll! Wes PS:Sorry for not posting this in the Supercars section, but I wanted to get the opinions from us commoners who don't frequent that area. Hope you understand.
Looks as if i'm the first one to vote... Nice to see 100% in favor of the Enzo's shape... The Enzo is, without question, the most beautiful creation the world has ever known. There's no 'basically' about it...
There have actually been a number of derisive comments on that car in previous threads. And I don't mean one or two. So, I want to know how many feel that way, and how many favor the car. Best! Wes
pictures dont do it justice...in person it is will looking, so wide in the back, f 1 car like nose in the front...very different and orginal design....to me it s masterpiece..and it doesnt look like every other kit car like exotic...
It looks very radical and different and that's probably why it found its critics. Personally I love it, but I have to agree that it looks unlike anything else in the current lineup, which is more "egg shaped". To me it is the Countach of this decade (whatever this decade is called).
Invokes so many emotions, plus the appearance that its only design was to make it go fast and look sexy.
I love the shape and the more I look at it the more it resembles the LMPs from the front when their shell is off. It is a radical and purpouse built sports car with outstanding performance. I like to ride in one...
I love it, it captures the purposeful look of a Group C racer, and is 21st century design. Forget the 1980s.
Sorry, but I never have gotten to where I like the looks of the Enzo. The lines just don't work together to make a beautiful car. It almost looks like two different engineering teams worked on the front and back of the car and then joined them together on the production line.
Well, at this point 10 people have voted against it, so I was kinda hoping more of them would have spoken up by now, but I guess they're shy. If I recall correctly, some comments were that it looked too "Japanese". I don't want to comment for myself as I want to remain as a neutral poster for a while yet. Wes
If I had to choose between love it or hate it. Then I'd say I would tend to swing towards hate it, but not full on.
Respectfully, I don't think any of Ferrari's recent supercars (F40, F50 Enzo) have been particularly good looking, but then that's NOT the point of these cars; they are about function foremost. I think all these cars could be called "handsome" but IMHO they are not beautiful as many of the road cars or dual purpose cars of the past such as the 250GT SWB, Lusso, Daytona, 330 GTC and the 3X8s.
It is a "stunning" shape, but not that attractive to my eyes. As other people have said elsewhere it does look a bit like a Transformer, definitely function over form, which is I guess what the ultimate Ferrari should be all about. I personally think they look best in Black as it hides some of the more fussy exterioir detailling, although I must admint I would love to try one out just for the driving experience alone.
Well its no MCLAREN F1(Lock the thread now please),but its a decent enough car. I look forward to sharing my soon to be acquired 134282 w/ NNO. And to NNO: You owe me about 2500 pics. I'd appreciate them soon please
I thought it was ugly and weird looking at first but it's been growing on me. Theres alot of lines and scoops I would've changed though.
