...So said the man with the NSX...

I'm not really interested in a crossboard argument, but I just had to let some of you have a laugh at this joker claiming you don't get much for the money with the Enzo, and(get this) it's TOO COMMON!

Anyhow, I'll probably never know because I'm not quite in the old Enzo territory, but it's amusing nonetheless.

Please don't go in flamethrowers lit because it will probably get me banned.

That's less amusing than his claim that he prefers his mustang to "his" 360.

The Enzo is a cool car, but it's time at the top is very short with cars like the GT around for half the money and equal if not better performance.

the ford gt is 1/4 the price of an enzo..based on list price of course... enzos are no longer available and will cost you up wards of 1million dollars to buy...i doubt the gt can hang with the enzo... the enzo has 100more hp andless weight...and motor trend did a comparison of the viper srt and the gt and the gt barely was faster even though it was 2x the price...wait until next year when the new z06 comes out, with 500 hp andless weight than the gt, it should be able to go toe to toe with it for 100k less!!!!

FYI, all Ferraris have always been overpriced and underperformers when compared to other supercars from Porsche and others. But, there is something about a Ferrari that makes them more desirable nonetheless. But, I do love the new Ford GT and think it looks better than the Enzo regardless of its performance.

The GT is fast, but not that fast. I am very impressed with it, but it might be a match for something like the F50. The GT is a bit quicker than the 360 CS and the CS is a match for the F40 at Fiorano. The F50 and GT are about equal in a straightline and both known for the car dynamics.

They're straight line performance is all that matters people. If you tell them the word track, they see a 1/4 mile straight line. Turning means nothing to those people especially what cars turn better than others.

It's like trying to get a rabbit to choose a center cut sirloin steak over a carrot next to it. Sure you and I know the steak is better but the carrot is all the poor little rabbit knows. So it's going to say its best. (Especially if it’s the Ford GT of carrots.)

the fact is that when cars than are high performance are introduced, they are always compared to the ultimate, in this case the Enzo. I remember when the ZR 1 came out, it was fasdter than the TR, blah blah blah. Even I bought one for 20 grand over list, as I had to have one. Well, it is still a chevrolet and they make them by the thousands. The Ford GT is another car I would like to own, but I will wait till they start depreciating. They will. Once they have made a couple of thousand, and Jay Leno and other enthusiasts decide to get rid of theirs.
