I took these pics on the 20th of March 2002 in Maranello, around the factory location. This was a few months before the official presentation of what was then known as the F60 or FX. In a couple of shots you can see that we were actually following the car on it's testdrive. We were driving a rental FIAT Punto, and obviously had a hard time keeping up with him, allthough traffic was holding him up as well. At the stoplight we had about 40 seconds to take good pics of the rear of the heavily camouflaged car (complete with fake fins!) before he blasted off F1 style. The one I particularly like is the one where it is going through a sharp turn (frontview) with the late afternoon sun in the background. That day was magical!! So was the next day, when we were given the opportunity for a factory tour.(where we saw another pre-production model of the Enzo under a cover...) I did not get around to posting these earlier since the pics were not digitallized, but today I bought a scanner and I hope you like the results allthough the news is almost two years old. By the way, a Dutch magazine called Autovisie actually published three of my pics since I was one of the first to capture spyshots of the rear of the car.

very interesting, nice of you to share those pics with us!!
Amazing what a little bit of disguise can do, because if you had never seen an Enzo you would not be able to picture the Enzo of today if you had only ever seen that test car.

It's amazing how it really is an Enzo with disguise... rather than a mule...

Great pics - thanks for posting.

The headlights and taillights were fake right, just part of the camo. to provide somelight w/o exposing the real thing? It wasn't a different evolution was it?

In a weird way...I really like the way it looks with all the camouflage.

Great pics, that must have been exciting to be one of the first outsiders to get pictures of the Enzo.

here is a scan of the article in the magazine that published some of the pics. The bottom pic (NNO pay attention, it's an all black camouflaged Enzo!!)was not taken by me.

The one at the bottom appears to be the prototype that used F50 front lights.
    Excelent pictures.

Anyone have pics of the "348" bodied FX60 prototype?

I quite like the rear fins on it. It would look even more like the Batmobile if it was black.

This is the only picture I could found on my computer. I guess I found it somewhere on the net, but I have no idea where I found it or who made it.
