Fresh off the press: Anyone got 1.2 million Euro burning a hole in their pocket? (Excerpt from www.Owners.Ferrari.com) New FXX to turn client-collectors into genuine Ferrari Test Drivers Ferrari has developed a truly innovative technical collaboration programme around the FXX prototype aimed at its most dedicated and passionate Clients. The FXX is the most advanced GT ever created at Maranello and its mission is to involve our most valued Clients as genuine Prancing Horse Test Drivers in their own right. The wealth of data and experience gathered in the course of this very special programme will be exceptionally important. In fact, the feedback from these highly skilled, non-professional Client Test Drivers will be compared and supplemented with suggestions from Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello and Ferraris professional in-house Test Drivers. Every Client who signs up for the FXX project by purchasing one of the estimated 20 or so cars being built, will actually be joining Team Ferrari, and will have his driving experiences at the wheel of this new car monitored directly by the Prancing Horses technicians and specialists. soooo...it looks like the exhaust displaced the tail-lights. where did they go? or is the car so damn fast that letting other people know when you're braking is a non issue...?
The back looks funny... like near the back tailights but anyways the car is sick! How can they only come up with 20 customers. I thought there were a lot of good customers and many to qualify to purschase this fine vehicle. Are they going to be street legal you think?
They've already stated that it won't be road legal- and they're limiting the production to 20 for the same reason they limited the F50 at 349 and the Enzo at 399- they want demand to outweigh supply.
not gonna say thats a dumb response. but i honestly do not see the difference between that and "wats his name".
You betcha. Check out the Super Ferraris section for an expanded (and merged) discussion on this topic. http://70.85.40.84/~ferrari/forum/showthread.php?t=63129
