    No! It's Richard Losee.

Does anyone know if the black line running from the rear 3/4 down the sill is exposed carbon or just a decal?

Sadly, the car was wrecked during a charity event not too long ago. Mr. Losee is okay, does anyone know if the car is going to be/has been rebuilt?

I believe that was a sticker used to prevent stone and rock chips, because of the high speeds they were hitting.

They were performing high speed runs in the desert when he crashed.

    This may be the reason?

if i remember correctly, he had it put on for more than just looks. i dont recall if it was for better aerodynamics or increased gas mileage or something. sounds fishy, i know, but this is just what i remember of reading that long thread x amount of months ago.

I don't mean to sound stuck up or anything, but there are only 400 Enzos ever made (including the one for the Pope), and a number have already crashed. Why would you ever fould it up by cutting the top off? Save that for the Lamborghini...

He bought an extra set of doors an modified them. That's all that was changed. No part of the original car was "cut".

Even if he did cut the original doors, no one should be getting angry about him doing it because guess what, its his car, and he can do what he wants with it. As long as he enjoyed it while it was still around. Since you are new here, you may also get annoyed that the car had many miles on it, I think I remember it being close to 30,000, but I can be very wrong on this number.

In the pictures of Mr. Losee's crashed Enzo, no doors were present, and any Enzo would actually appear as a targa without an doors, as they are part of the roof, much like the Ford GT.

Very neat I do believe that this car was the first Enzo I saw in person at Laguna Seca, is it the car with a personalized Utah plate? The same one that crashed in Utah on the closed road?

I believe this Enzo also had the most miles, somewhere around 33k.

Does anyone know whether he crashed with the "targa" or normal doors? I suppose they were the normal ones, due to the high speeds, but anyone know for sure?

I do believe that its a charity where the cops clock you at your highest speed and you pay the ticket towards charity. Horrible to lose a car doing something so nice like that...

Richard Losse owned the car... however that is not him in the picture. The picture shows "The F-Chat Member formerly known as PimpDaddy" aka Stackhouse.

He had the normal doors on.

I believe you are thinking of the right car, the plate was MM ENZO, I think. It was featured in Road and Track for their road test of an Enzo

I could get used to the black stripe. Is sort of similar to the stripe on the F40 and F50.
