I'm new to Ferrari's and have a few questions about the value of an Enzo. A European broker suggested that an Enzo would be worth less in Europe than in the US. This seems strange given the current Euro/dollar situation. Opinions? I would also like opinions on what should be paid for a salvaged Enzo, totally redone by the factory, vs other cars. Should I expect to pay less for the salvaged car even though Ferrari rebuilt it? If yes, how much less than what I'm looking at in the general Enzo price range? What do people see as the current Enzo price range? Thanks for your thoughts.
As with any car supply and demand help determine price. With only about 55 USA spec Enzos built they command a premium over the more plentiful Euro market version. Some USA market cars were under 1m with a new engine before. Nice low mileage cars seem to be in the 1.5m range with a further premium for desirable colors like black when originally built that way. The factory has the most experience building an Enzo so one rebuilt by them will be the best you can find. How much of the old 'pieces' if any that are reused seems very difficult to pin down accurately... CH
There are over 120 Enzos in the United States. The number I currently have is 125, but I'm sure there are a few more.
Yes, sold new. I have 124 (not 125 as I erroneously stated above) Enzos that were made for the US market. I have 11 black ones: 131242, 132332, 132652, 132664, 133118, 133918, 133924, 133927, 134281, 134282, 134294. However, There are 28 US Enzos for which I don't have color information: 131024, 131240, 131323, 131629, 131630, 131884, 132052, 132054, 132056, 132333, 132654, 132656, 132657, 133022, 133033, 133117, 133494, 133502, 133507, 133508, 133513, 133931, 133933, 134287, 134288, 134590, 134950, 136066. If anyone should have the color information for any of these Enzos, I would really like to know that information.
BTW we did sell the black USA Enzo last week via Monte Carlo. Bought & paid for.... so one less here. Joe www.joesackey.com
Thanks for all the details Carbon! Good Luck figuring out how those 28 were optioned; hopefully someone can fill in a few of the blanks. CH
I wouldn't say I'm glad to see it go, but if someone outside of the country bought a US Enzo, I'm glad it wasn't a real black one. You have statistics on current GTO population in the US...?
would anybody expet the price of an enzo to decrease? i mean f50's used to cost more than they do now (PLEASE correct me if i am wrong) could the same be true for the enzo and i've been searching for enzo's and currently i find them in the 1.2 price range 1.3 how much more would a black one be?
131629 is rosso corsa/tan 132654 is rosso corsa/red 133117, 133494, 133507, 133508, and 133931 are canada cars, in some shade of red, im not sure which 134950 is rosso corsa, i have seen it in person 136066 is rosso corsa/black come on dude I thought you were the master
LOL, I'm a master of nothing. But I do appreciate the information. I guess I have some catching up to do.
Andrew, do you have proof or pictures...? I ask because 134952 shouldn't exist any more; and when it did exist, it was red.
