i know there was a thread about the regular S7 and Mclaren but... now we are talking the TT version (750 hp, 2900lbs)

Sure sounds like king of the hill for cars sold in the US (i would say everywhere but the CCR might cause some problems.

or is the enzo still better cause of the horse?

Enzo. I'm not biased at all.

Whether you are talking cars in a lounge discussion or filling out the car type in a hotel registry, one puts Saleen, the other puts Ferrari..... I think it all has been said in that one word.

u got that right racerXGTO...that one very word...Ferrari, sums it ALL up.

maybe that because Ferrari won alot of races and has history along with soul?

but having a saleen isnt that bad at all either ;-)

for another $10k, saleen gives you another 100 hp (ie: 850 hp) on the TT S7. given it's still cheaper than MSRP on the Enzo, that's how they should be compared IMO.

lol, the 850 HP saleen would crush an enzo on accelerative performance. saleen has quite successfully campaigned that car in racing to and can more than handle the never raced enzo there too. will insecure little boyz still pick the enzo as a penis extention for status? likely.

this is sort of where i was going with this thread. It seems like becuase of the horse its the best. But the saleen outperforms it in everyway.

I dont care at all about racing history (though saleen is doing well right now, wheres the enzo?)

I dont care about what name it has

Price... if you can afford one, you can get the other

just the way i see it...

If I wanted to win a drag race, I'd pick the Saleen S7 TT. If I wanted a car that didn't look ugly, than I'd pick the Enzo.

Take the penis extention , stick it in your mouth and shut up . If you see every ferrari as a penis extention you are on the wrong board, or maybe your are just a dumbass.

I'm not really a fan of either car, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the Enzo. I think it would be safer in a car crash because of all the CF whereas the S7 uses a space frame chassis (basically a kit car design).

I love those who get all worked up about bhp. Ferrari chooses not to get into these crazy horsepower races. If you think Ferrari is incapable of producing pure horsepower, you've never heard of Formula One.

To that, I ask how many Saleen's you see on the F1 circuit? None. I'll be impressed when a Saleen can produce a V-10 that cranks 18K RPM and 850-900 bhp while maneuvering competetively through the streets of Monte Carlo.

I don't understand threads like these. People come on a board just to knock the brand and try to upset enthusiasts... I think its all pretty lame.

They are both great cars so why argue over a tenth of a second in performance where very few, non-pro-racing, enthusiasts could consistantly run anyways?

If you have the money buy which ever car you have a true passion for and use it like it was designed for and everyone will be happy. Learn your car until you can consistantly run the car's fastest times, not just yours.

There are several ways to go fast and these two cars just take two different paths. Personally I'd have the Enzo, but then I came on this board as a true passionate Ferrari fan and learn some people who know them. Not as someone trying to start an arguement.

very nice. i can see by your defensiveness, you are one of those who uses the fcar as an organ enlarger. it is quite possible to appreciate fcars - and other fine cars - for other reasons however.

quite a different thing making an anything goes high hp engine that has to be rebuilt after every race vs. one that meets emission/noise laws, is reliable enough to carry a multiyear bumper to bumper warranty, can at least make it to the grocery store before needing a fill up, and doesn't require your mechanic accompany you everywhere you use it.

Defensiveness ? Im just tired of you trolling here and say such BS about f cars owners.

And BTW YOU are the one implying an Enzo is a penis extension, not me. I know pretty well how an F or other exotics can be enjoyed and i never seen then as penis extention . Go see a doctor for both your physical and mental pbs.

that "BS" only fits "some" fcar owners - ie: those that pick the fcar over other similar or better performing brands solely because their little weinie demands it.

You guys have forgotten one of the most important arguments of this whole thread.

SOUND.. while an all aluminum 427 sounds nice.. there is NOTHING in the world that sounds like a Ferrari V-12 used in anger.. NOTHING!

That alone is why I would by an enzo before an S7.
