saw a black Enzo with black rims and T-plate of coz, hk side...SOOOOOOOOO NICE
What a waste... There are 2 Black Enzos with black rims in hk. One with all black rims and the other one with silver lips, dunno which one you saw. But the one with all black rims is from a loaded family (obviously), but with no taste at all. All their cars are black with black rims; even their Toyota Alphard and Nissan Elgrant.... Check out their black superamerica for sale now at IM.. just plain silly. I love using this family to prove to people that money does not equal taste
A bit harsh. Somewhat limited imagination possibly but certainly not no taste at all. They do have cars that are not all black and one or two of those might qualify as no taste
well they have enought taste in my books to buy an ENZO.. give me an Enzo .. with pink pokka dots... i would still drive it. heehe
All i know is their Phantom with bling 24s. Do they have more that is not all black? I know they also have two all matte black, but thats no difference to me. I guess I am not as annoyed with their taste (as its to each of our own), but the stupid/childish attitude of doing all that.
To me, it has to consist of creativity and imagination at the very least; unfortunately i can't see either in an all black collection.
That I'd agreed hands down. I'd need to wear a batman suit to drive a pink Enzo Maybe their fengshui master says that all their rides must be black
But they are doing some things that are interesting. Mega sound systems, 1st Harmon? kit for a 599 in HK. I wouldn't do it myself but I sure enjoy looking at things that I normally only see in magazines. There must be some real passion to do things in such a big way. Aside from the Superamerica people normally queue to buy their young used cars with a lot of kit. I am not trying to defend but car crazy people are to be respected even if taste diverges. I feel the same way about some of the crazys in Mong Kok who get seriously caught up in customisation. I admisre them for their passion
is that right?? I saw their 599 last night, but i guess it was too dark for me to tell. If they put on sound systems and kits, i have total respect for. Unfortunately only a very few of their cars u can really call customization (S-class w/ brabus kit, Phantom, Hamann 599?). The following are/were their Black and black wheels cars that have no exterior modification:- 360 360 spider 430 Enzo 612 575 575SA SL55 BMW 7 series 997 Carrera Vanquish G55 Alphard Elgrant CLK DTM Convertible I am sure there are alot more... The sad thing is, its actually the eldest son's idea to do this, not the father (the one w/money obviously). IMO its no surprise that alot of people want their cars, their cars are always young like you said and not abused (definitely not SMD/Trackdays participants; so not a bad deal at all, all you need to do is to repaint the wheels then you can have a BEAUTIFUL car. I am sure there are also buyers that actually likes the looks of them, thats fine too. Why? Because I highly doubt that those buyers have another 20 black/black cars in their garage!
That's a good list of garage! & I think quite a no of them do look very good in black. Anyway, it's their $ so why bother. I like colours & if I ever have that kind of garage, I would probably have a colour each to make my 2 weeks happy & decked out with matching clothes, watches, shoes
That is one mad list right there. I see their cars from time to time too, not my cup of tea neither. Saw their CLK DTM convertible yesterday, in matt black, ewwww.
The owner (the father) is the president of two listed Telecommunication companies in Hong Kong. The eldest son is in charge of a publishing company which produces a few fashion/trends magazine targeting young ppl and also a record label company in Hong Kong, both companies are financed by the father. The younger son is a singer, managed by the elder brother's record label. The father allegedly bribed the TV/Radio stations in order for the son to receive the musical awards. The son was very unpopular when the allegations emerged on the newspapers, but hes now doing better after everything faded away.
