Yesterday we went with the Alfa 156 Sportwagon of my uncle to Zolder to get the car tracked :) Unfortunately, the weather was very bad so we weren't able to go fast, but it was fun after all :) The track dried up after a while so you could faster. It may look a bit strange, a diesel powered Alfa sportwagen between all those stripped cars and others who like the circuit more then public roads :) He didn't want to damage the car because it's his daily driver, so hi didn't take any riscs.

2 week before this, I also went on the track with a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup and I have to say, the Alfa is more fun, although the Porsche is much quicker. In the Porsche, you have so many safety belts and because of that, you don't really feel how quick you are really going in the corners. In the Alfa, you almost fly out of the window :D

There was also a drifting session. As you can see on the pics, it was really heavy raining. They liked it... Some did also put soap on ther tyres. Very spectacular to see... Not with cars which are so beautiful as a Ferrari but you don't need that to have fun!

I'll post 'some' pics because I just bought a new camera and it was the first time I could use it on the track :)

    Enjoy the pics ;)

Sorry I couldn't make it. The weather was looking too bad when I wanted to leave for Zolder. Nice to see your dad took to the track and kept it all clean. Was it his first time on a track?

    Best, Peter

    Actually, it's my uncle :)

It wasn't his first time on a track at all. When he was younger, he drove karts and Formula Ford :) His hart does still bleed when he is looking at a Formula Ford...
