The ABS and/or the brake light is intermittent. The brake light would be lit from very dim to normal on. very sporadic. But it's becoming more common. Usually shutting down & restarting solves the issue.

Pulled the ABS Code: a '95 spyder, seeing an error 61 : Brake fluid level or insufficient pressure. Check minimum pressure and level microswitch circuits. (Also a 78, but I'll look at the rear sensor shortly)

Of course the fluid level is fine. With the dim Brake light, I'm thinking perhaps a short. where is the switch circuits? I've cleaned the contact at the fluid tank. Can you even check the pressure safely?

I see no fluid around suggesting a leak. However, the paint under the unit is wrinkled suggesting fluid may have been there at one time. Perhaps an overfill.

I would think if the system pressure was low, you would have noted increasing brake pedal pressure needed to stop, and your pressure pump running more than usual

    Thanks for responding.
The pump doesn't run excessively (That I'm aware) though I haven't hit the brakes hard enough to know if the ABS is actually working. (with a 355, it's always downshift to hear the engine :) ) After I get a new fan switch installed, I'll try that.

Any other guidance would be appreciate.
    thanks.

There's probably a newer thread on this, but the new site's search is poo.

Took her into the shop where the mechanic told me pick up a new accumulator and he'd install it.
Superformance had it for $207 British pounds. with shipping & conversion was still almost 50% off other vendors.
It goes into the shop Wed. I'll let you know how it turns out.
