    I am trying to cross reference some bearings in the differential of my Series III Auto.

    I understand the bearings are the same among all three versions.

    Does anyone have the bearing part numbers to correspond to the lambo part numbers for any make of bearing?

    I used a US website which gave me some but they do not exactly match the bearing part numbers of a dealer I checked. As they are in a diff they are subject to different loadings as compared to a wheel so temp/ grease etc could all be special.

    What I have so far is:

    008546801 = CUSC 399-AS/394-A/4
    008503502= CUSC 6207 EX4A ( the last part is causing most confusion)
    008544101= CUSC M-802048/M-802011/7
    00854301 = CUSC 88649/HM-88610/7 ( again the 7 is causing confusion)
    0015409561 = ?????

    I found a source for front wheel bearings, but the dealer wanted me to buy the whole stock of 150!

    Any other cross reference bearings for the car?

    Help or additions would be appreciated

    I do not have an answer, but if you can take specific measurements you may find cross references that way. Have done that in the past on older american cars.

    Why not call Gary Bobileff @ Bobileff Motorcars( San Diego)or GT car parts (Phoenix) and just buy them from them . They are reasonable prices and you will have some accountability if they get it wrong. I buy lots of stuff from these guys and so far so good but ask for Dave at GT as Bill is sometimes a little distracted? Gary is far more helpful than either however and even though he is a busy guy , he does like his customers .

    Hi Guys
    thanks for the advice to date.
    I had checked the lambo stuff website and got the part numbers listed above but they do not translate exactly to parts here hence the post.

    I hjave bought a lot of stuff form GT carparts before. However to get it to the UK we pay:
    Full US price
    Full US carriage which is always abou $40 plus
    Then !0% import duty
    Then 17.5% tax on top of the overall total
    Usually parts in US are about the same price in $ as we pay in £'s! With the exchange rate at 1.50 by the time we add these figures the cost benifit is slight!

    I have found in the past that normal identical SKF bearing for example are about 75% cheaper than the factory items. AS the cost of these bearings is being quoted at £460 plus 17.5% tax in Uk was seeing if there was a more sensible option

    I can't imagine why you'd buy the stuff from the USA unless the pricing is that much better. Lambostuff is convienient for USA customers if the price is OK.

    Keep digging for an xref but have you tried Eurospares? They're almost local for you?

    Try talking with Chad about this. He's pretty helpful too if Gary can't get you fixed up.

    Just to let you know, GT Car Parts has the wheel bearings. They sell a more common bearing and a sleeve to make it fit the Espada. Originals are becoming more unobtainium as time goes by. Gus (Espada 8616)
