Hi guys, It's time too start a thread for one of the most underated Lamborghini: the LAMBORGHINI ESPADA. Here is my car. Darryl, Bob S., and all the others interested, please join. Philippe Muratori Espada S2 7987 www.lamborghinimiura.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
I always view those cars as Muscle cars insead of an exotic. They pack alot of punch for being a big 2+2 coupe. Its got a unique design that you don't see on anything else on the road.
Philippe, Looks good, I am looking forward to seeing it at Pocono. With a little luck we could have a nice turnout of Espadas. We'll have to feature the Espada soon. This year it is the Islero. Right now it looks like we have 7 Isleros (World Record) scheduled to be there. Joe
Very nice car, Philippe. I would also like to see a discussion about changes during production (Series I,II,III,etc) More photos, please.
Great car, even better colour!! I thought I knew what colour to paint my Longchamp, but this makes me think... Finlandese
The color is fantastic!!! When I first saw an ESPADA in the mid-70ies I was stunned. Until today it was -for me- the most incredible 4-seater on this planet! Ciao! Walter
OK, here we go: today`s visit of TECHNO CLASSICA Show in Essen, Germany (the biggest show for classic cars worldwide!!) had in Hall 7 on the stund of The Int. Lamborghini Owners Club (ILOC) this 3 very nice Espadas on display. The green car in particular got my attention. Very nice! Ciao! Great idea! I always loved Espadas. here are some scans (horrible sorry) of the one owned by someone who was like an older brother to me 25 years ago: he even picked up girls for me when I was shy we went from Paris to geneva for the show in 83 in this car and his girlfriend, a very sweet Moroccan girl, was knitting in the backseat as we sailed down the autoroute at 220kph! It was left hand drive but he bought it in England, he had it in Neuilly (near Paris) but kept the English plates as it was convenient in case of speeding tickets. I lost touch with them when I moved to the US in 1990. Does anyone know of the whereabouts of this car? It is shown on page 75 of that lousy little book Lamborghini supreme amongst exotics at a Goodwod track day: that photo shows the cars color more accurately. I have very fond memories of that car! We had massive understeer in a hairpin turn near Geneva and damn near clobered the rockface minutes befoe I took these shots. Here's one that attended last year's Open House at Competizione in Gaithersburg, MD. I don't know if the owner is a member here or not. Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Phillipe, I know introduced at the same show as the Islero. If you want to rally the Espada owners, I'm sure the Islero owners would be happy to share the 40th Anniversary cake. Joe
