Anyone here who could give me a time estimate for a basic stripping of trim, windows etc. by a good mechanic who has stripped a 308GTB more than once?

To do a proper thorough job, 4 days to R and 3 days to I. Front and rear glass is easily a day.

removing the rear louvers is a 1/2 day job in itself, if you want to take your time and not break or enlarge the rivet holes. another example....removing the horsey and logos at the rear means taking the boot area apart, especially to remove the bumper shocks. the second issue is that you do not want to trust this to a junior trim remover staff who works on kia's and honda's. so you are going to pay a higher hourly rate to ensure minimal damage on removal. and you will want to catalogue all the parts, place in marked bins, with photos, I would say easily $5000 to R&I. you get what you pay for.
