Ethanol / Hot start issues - comments?

Over the last 8 months, I have developed the age old warm start issue with my 308. Car starts perfect when cold but if I turn it off it won't fire up at all until it cools back down. I am in the process of going through the myriad of probabilities (fuel accumulator, etc).

While that is going on and my garage sits painfully empty, I started wondering if any of you are seeing increased trouble starting your cars once they are warm and whether we could link anything to ethanol in the fuel. I have been told the ethanol additives make gas evaporate more quickly when warm possibly leading to increased vapor lock issues in our older cars.

Long shot? sure... Just curious... My car is an 85 308 FWIW.
