There are a few stations where I live that have non-ethanol fuel. For the 599, what is the best fuel to run--are --premium with ethanol or without?

For what is worth I found out several years ago that all the auto manufactures do their mileage rating tests with Chevron, I assume w/o ethanol. I have to believe that they believe there is something better about Chevron gas or they would use what they think is the best gasoline.

Some years ago before I started using Chevron I had trouble with my fuel injectors. The tech said he could either change them all out ($$$) or I could run some gas treatment (forgot the brand he suggested) through and change gasoline brands. I took his advice ran Chevron with the gas treatment product and never had another injector problem. So now I try to only run Chevron Supreme on all my vehicles. Perhaps now all brands are much the same? But when something is working I am reluctant to go away from what is producing good results.

I hate ethanol. That said, in a modern car like a 599 (or my 612), it should handle it just fine. I do try to put non-ethanol fuel in my vintage cars, because it eats the fuel systems in those cars. But non-ethanol premium is $4+/gallon here and hard to find, so just not worth it for a modern car.

Randy- Chevron has Techron, which is a good fuel injector cleaner and also available separately. Shell used to have it, too, but have not seen them advertising it lately. Chevron was all I ran in the 575M in NM, even if it was priced higher than most other brands.

In CA all brands are over priced compared to any other state. CA pays just about double the average of all the states.or about $.50/.60 more than the second highest state. So you may as well go with the best stuff. All my cars are more of less performance vehicles, even my wife's Cayenne.
