I read in several treads of Fchatters who are gonna visit Spa-Italia on 29th of may or the Spa Ferrari Days on 25 and 26 june. Maybe it is nice to make a little "inventarisation" of who is going and arrange a "F-chatters meet & greet". Please post in this tread which event you are visiting and on what day. Hope this works out!!
have to find out if I have some money left in my pocket and if I can take perhaps some days off from work. ... so don't know yet, want to... but can it??? ... don't know!
@Waldo, just save some bucks for the drive to Roermond. I have a free seat for you to Spa!! and since when do you have to work on sunday??
Hi guys, count me in for Spa Italia ( don't know sat or sunday, probably on Sunday) and for Spa Ferrari Days (dragging a crazy Norvegian behind me ) both days. We're also planning a visit to the circuit museum in Stavelot. Does anybody know if it's open on Sunday?? Jurgen
I'll be at Spa Italia (it's only on sunday i believe?) and i'll also be at the Spa Ferrari days (hope to make it on saturday AND sunday ) Guy
Hi Guy's, Count me in for the "Meet and Greet" in Spa: Spa Italia and Spa Ferrari day's on Sunday. Regards 308ROB.
Anouncemend from organisation Spa Italia 2005: The topics of SpaItalia 2005 seem to have motivated so much actors and spectators that the organizers are expecting a very great edition on next 29 May. The admirers of the Italian Master Pininfarina will have what to give pleasure, in particular while coming to admire the "Ferrari Rossa", a concept car created five years ago for the 70e birthday of the mark. About the Equipe Nationale Belge, the former members will meet around a Ferrari 500 TRC of 1957, which competed under the colours of the ENB and which will come from England particularly for the event. Lamborghini will be there like usual to receive its guests and it is expected that they will hold a surprise of last minute to attract the glances of the amateurs. The marks Maserati and Ferrari will take part for the first time in an official way and for those not having the opportunity of attending the motor shows of Geneva or Detroit, it will be the occasion to admire the F-430 in its various versions as well as last creations of the mark of the trident: Quattroporte and Gransport. For the various activities, the inscriptions return regularly and one can already announce that the sessions on track have their usual success and that the places remained free the day of the event will undoubtedly not be numerous. It is to be stressed that packages including lodging, meal and inscription and one hour of Grande Parade are at disposal with the organization. The attempt at record aiming at gathering the spiders Alfa Romeo (series 105) caused much interest but who says record says figure out of the common and the organizers still await many owners so that this record remains unequalled for a long time! Lastly, a tourist rally is proposed on Saturday May 28, afternoon, with departure from the circuit paddocks at 2:30 pm. It is the occasion to begin the weekend by meeting others impassioned and to discover this splendid area of the Ardennes in an original way. Image Unavailable, Please Login
i might well go to one of both events, haven't decided which one yet... so, can a normal spectator (without F-car that is) enjoy himself at spa ferrari days? or would spa italia be a better option? i'd like to be able to soak up the entire atmosphere(visiting the pits...), not just look at the track from the side...
Don't worry Stijn, a 'normal' spectator can absolutely enjoy himself at the Spa Ferrari Days!!! You can go in the paddock (you do have to pay for this paddock entrance but that also is the case at Spa Italia!) and if you're lucky even get into the pits between the F1's and so on!! If i were you i would try to go to both the events! But if you really have to choose one then it depends wether you want to see just Ferrari and Maserati or all the Italian marks! CU at Spa!!! Guy
Stijn, as a normal spectator for years in a row, I wouldn't miss Spa Ferrari Days for anything in the world. Paying a small entrance fee will allow you to wonder wherever you want. EVEN in the pits and some pitboxes as they're open for the public for some time during the day. The visiting cars are also worth it ( from the early cars upto the latest releases are present. Spa Italia isn't all that bad either, even tough not exclusive to Ferrari, but the amount of beautiful hardware isn't to be missed. Does someone have a date for Ferrarese? It think it's somewhere in September?? Jurgen
I can find more information about the registration for SpaItalia ( 29/05/05) on http://www.spaitalia.be/ . But does anyone know where I can find a registration for Ferrari-Maserati Days (24,25,26/05/05) ? I can only find the date on http://www.spa-francorchamps.be/en/index2.html Many Thanks, Kinnie
Of course it is very tempting to go. But I am wondering: if we go as a group F-chatters and all bring our F-cars, are there benefits like track time perhaps? In 2003 there were demonstration laps by the Belgian Alfa importer (which imho were inappropiate on Ferrari/Maserati days), so perhaps.... Is it possble to park your car in the inside area of the track or do you have to be a member of the Belgian Ferrari Club?
Hi Ad, Ferrari's are allowd to park inside during the Ferrari days. At Spa Italia all Italian cars are allowed to park inside. greetz,
Thanks Vincent, What do you get when you registrate by Ferrari Club Belgio ? For me it is enough when I can enter the inside area of the track with my car. And what is the price for a registration, and can I registrate as an non member ? Thanks
Indeed I expect everything is allowd after registration or am I wrong ? For the SpaItalia registration it costs 30 euro. Or can I enter without registration ?
