I'm looking for a thread or instructions on how to create ECU test buttons & pigtails for Euro 348. I know they are momentary buttons, creating a quick short to get the ECU to flash codes. I've searched everywhere.... apparently there were some buttons and pigtails available years ago, but they have been depleted. Anyone with a 'how to' on building a pigtail, and what wires(ECU to momentary short? All info/threads appreciated... TIA

    Oh Sandy.......

Did you look in the 348 DIY sticky? Had you looked in it you would have found this thread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/511462-348-diagnostics.html#post144458130 on page #5 of the sticky. ;) Hope that helps.

For future reference, the 348 DIY thread is found in the master sticky thread index at the top of the 348/355 section.

One more thing. It would be nice if you took a bunch of pictures and posted up a DIY for future reference for the next person that encounters this.

Geez, it pays to be on top of things.... Don't look back at the thread for 15 hrs and miss out on that ebay listing! The worst of it is, I'm already dealing with that Ebay seller for another part... Snooze, you loose. Anyway, thanks guys... Probably gone to another f-chatter that bread this page...!

Always check these two sellers: jdmspares (Australia) and slava81. There is a German seller (klassen_kfz-demontage) who has listed about 6,000 items for the 348 only, seems from about 10 "demontaged" cars, but his prices are sky high and, in many cases, higher than the prices of (still available) new parts from Eurospares, for example.

Or you can buy push-button switches like these (similar diameter to the original buttons) in electrical shops. The big advantage (other than the price) is that you can have them in your favourite colour.

Thanks all, been on the back-burner... Boat came out of the water for winter today- a million Zebra Mussels now littering my driveway. This is my 1st experience with these pests... what a PITA. Then the MB(350BT) throws a check engine light. Apparently, when changing out the fuel filter(diesel) last week, I screwed up tightening down the turbo clamp.... code for lean along with some others... didn't like pulling a boat trailer!!! Will look at the clamp fitting tomorrow. Just one of those days... flip open the boat engine cover, and it separates from the hinge... just one of those days. Thought I had plenty of Hull Cleaner, nope, up at the cottage!!! GRRR!
