Greetings. Just diving into doing a 30k service on a new to me 1990 Testarossa. Been reading a bit about US spec vs Euro spec cam timing. Euro spec moves the intake cam 3 degrees for more overlap and better reversion and higher rpm power, which is how the car was intended to run (except for our slightly lower compression)

Question: Is the CIS-E programming the same for US spec and Euro spec? This car won't be running the cats or stock exhaust, but will still be running the O2 sensors and computers. I understand that Euro spec creates more heat in the exhaust which was not recommended for running cats, but I don't want to throw check engine lights for O2 sensors out of range. I can run Innovate wideband O2 controllers which have a programmable narrowband O2 output to keep the signal in range, but would prefer not to if I don't have to.

    Thanks for the info!
