    I've heard talk on here about certification for euro spec cars. I'm looking at one on friday that the owner has clear title to and is state registered but he doesn't have a copy of the certification for the U.S market.

    The carfax report shows no problems or title issues. Been registered in OH since 99 and TN in 06.

    Is this a problem and can i still get it titled in florida without it?

    Call Dick Merritt at the DOT at 202-366-5300 and provide him the VIN. He will be able to tell you the status of the car and they can send you the compliance letter for a small fee if the car is legit.
