Maybe the column location was used as the DOT location vs at the base of the windshield? Importer could have looked at a U.S. spec Dino and saw it on the column and decided to do something similar? Freeman
I would be worth 20 grand more without that stupid shield. The prancing horse in the grill is incredibly insulting.
Was this the same car that was at Gullwing about 6 months ago? If so, paint was bubbling up pretty bad on rear buttresses, rust was evident in other locations - IMHO quite a few dollars will have to be put into this one ---if it is the same car I saw at Gullwing a few months ago.
If it could be bought for the right price, looks like it has the potential be be a presentable Euro driver in great colors that you wouldn't be afraid to drive. Focus on the mechanicals and make sure there aren't any structural issues. Looks like it has it's original jack. Needs a complete toolkit (-$?) and manual set (-$?). Throw on some XWX's ($2K), take the side stickers off and the grille Cavalino (free). What do you think is it's real value as-is? Freeman
It looks like a nice car. I would dye or change the interior to black & get all those goofy badges & horses off of it. It wouldn't take much...and its not my favorite blue but it could look pretty sharp. BTW is that a convertible Boano in the back?? I never saw one of those.... I wonder what the story there is??
