Is there supposed to be a rubber gasket behind the chrome bezel on the euro front side repeaters? I have NOS repeaters still in the Ferrari bubble pack with a rubber ring between the lens and the bezel but I think they may have packaged them that way so as not to lose the rubber part. I have some I pulled off a wrecked euro GT years ago that have a square cut ring behind the bezel.

The rubber ring is absolutely correct

Now that I have tried to install the repeaters tonight I find there is no room for the rubber ring. There is only enough clearance between the chrome bezel and the plastic compression fitting for the sheet metal. With the rubber ring you can't push the repeater in far enough to snap into place.
