    Just been talking with my Body work man re the indicator rubbers (white) on my car, He say's he's having a hell of a job trying to fit them and i said hang on a minute i'll do a search and look at another car and see how they look. But you know what, i cannot find a pic of another car with them fitted! So has anybody got them fitted to their car? and if not what about water/dirt ingress? or am i being stupid, Nobody takes a Dino out in the rain!

    Thanks John, I thought that the rubber lip was meant to fit over the edge of the lense, obviously not!

    BTW when i spoke to rubbers by mail and told them i was looking to find a rubber to fit something orange that flashes they slammed the phone down on me calling me a sicko!

    Graham,
    I've only seen one car with the white gaskets...make that two, now that John has kindly posted pictures! Personally, I'm not a fan of the bright white contrast on Dinos in dark colors. On those in silver or white, or on cars equipped with white lenses, the white rubber seems to be much less conspicuous.
    Now, I imagine that the gaskets/seals could be molded in a soft, more pliable material in black. That would make them a bit easier to fit and they'd kinda 'disappear' into the shadows.

    For the original look, check out the Superformance offerings; they appear to be white.

    Coop, thanks i already have the gaskets (£10 each from eurospares), and as it looks like my car is going to be Black after all then yes these rubbers will stand out! but you have given me an idea, maybe i could paint them with black tyre paint and they might be a bit less conspicuous. whadaya think?

    'sounds like a plan, Graham! I'd suggest that you clean the seals to remove any oil or debris from handling them, then shoot 'em with some good semi-gloss/satin black rubber paint...or dye, as has Jon (he's quite familiar with black cars!).
    The good news: They ought to look like they were moulded in black, will weatherproof the gaps, and will disappear, once installed.
    The bad news: You run the risk of a slight point-deduction if a knowledgeable (anal) judge spots the 'modification' at your friendly (fur shure) concours! To me, it's worth the risk.
