Does anyone with a Euro dino have a photo of the weber carb timing microswitch and its wiring? Note for those with American cars, it's different from the big switch on the cam cover of your cars.

I found the microswitch and its electrical terminal (tucked behind the fuel lines on front of the left-hand carburetor), but no idea how the wiring runs from there to the ignition plug in the trunk. If anyone has photos, I'd appreciate a look at them.

What is the function of the microswitch?

Switches to the second (R2) set of distributor points at idle for emission control. Unique to euro cars.

We got R1, R2 points with the 308GTB

On those it sits between the carbs activated by linkage movement.
Are you sure that wouldn't be similar??

The plunger is depressed when throttle travel is at idle.

On the Dino the switch is on the left-most (clutch side) of the three carbs, facing the trunk, just behind the fuel lines. It has a spade terminal on it, to which is attached a wire that passes through to the ignition module wiring plug in the trunk. The female end of that plug has a corresponding wire that goes back out the trunk to the R2 terminal on the distributor. At least that's how I assume it's supposed to work. What I need are photos showing the wiring layout from the microswitch, across the engine, to the trunk. I've got a couple of photos of the R2 wiring, but none of the microswitch wiring.
