    Hi,

I'm starting the process of looking for either:

    a) a Dino-badged, Euro-bumpered, pre-'76 308 GT4, or

    a) a Euro-bumpered, pre- '76 P250/P300 Uracco.

Car should be in #1-#3 condition. No restoration projects, please!

Prefer if the car is already in the U.S.. Car must be CA smog-exempt.

Principals only, but all leads gratefully received :)

    Thanks!

    Lovely!

How long have you had yours? Any oddities specific to the GT4 that I should be aware of in my search?

    Grazie

Love mine after less than year. These are true connoisseur's cars--understated perfection.
My depth of knowledge is a drop in the bucket compared to the experts you'll find in the 308 section. I would look for the most original, rust and accident-free and complete examples. There are a lot of unobtanium bits on these--hubcaps for the Chromodoras, correct door mirrors, velour seat inserts, trunk carpeting, steering wheel, etc.

An option is waiting 'til Concourso Italiano and seek a seller there.

BTW I am a big Giulia Super fan!

    Good luck-

    M

    Thanks for your comments, Matthew!

When I was 19-20 (circa 1985), my good buddy's girlfriends's father has a ~78 GT4. French Blue, blue interior, F-badged, and the smog equipment was off of it. I was fortunate enough to drive it "properly" ;) a few times. Great car :)

I see that the USA model, Dino-badged car on Ebay sold for $30k, and the Euro 208 GT4 sold for $28k. I need to find one soon!
