Jeff, congrats (again) and welcome to the Euro QV club. I did not have your chassis number, so it's good to find another one out there (yours makes 130 so far). Attached is the latest update. Look forward to your story and pictures. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Anyone familiar with this car? Wasn't in the registry. Have no idea how old the ad is, just found it surfing tonight. Obviously an 83 with black A pillars and 45091 chassis number. Buy used 1984 Ferrari 308 Euro QV in Agoura Hills, California, United States
43987 lives here on Amelia Island, Fl. with its original owner and is about to be put up for sale. Sadly she is not mine...
I saw this ad when I was looking, sent an email, and tried the link for the video which doesnt exist. Then I noticed the ad says the paint looks good for a nearly 20 yr old car, unless thats a typo, the ad was posted ten years ago.
50177, Red/Crema. New addition to the registry for those interested. For sale on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=281674620611
Thanks for sharing (although a pic would be nice). I'll add you to our informal registry and post an updated version soon.
Wow...she is in rough shape. I hope whom ever buys her pours a lot of love into her! Should be a good gauge for us euro-spec owners.
I dont know I would say rough. It's well used. Compared to many other cars built in 84, she's still a stunner. It's just definitely not collector car owned/maintained. I would say it looks to be a great start to a rewarding project.
I own 52641. It is a Euro car purchased in the early '90's. It now has a custom built turbo charged engine with water to air intercoolers. Motec electronic fuel injection, cockpit adjustable boost up to 25 psi. Built by Norwoods in 2004. It is in excellent condition and is a fun car to drive. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Glad you found us ferrariowner! Beautiful QV and a cool B-17 in the background. What color interior is your car?
Thomas, It has a black interior. The B-17 was visiting the airport I hanger my plane, so I took a ride. I have been a long time lurker on the forum and decided to join. This is a great forum with a lot of really good contributors.
Sorry to link to an ad, but this is 43987 residing in Fernandina Beach (Amelia Island) Florida. "Quattrovalvole" emblem is missing from the rear but it is a Euro QV imported from France in 1983: AutoTrader Classics - 1983 Ferrari 308 Convertible Red 8 Cylinder Manual 2 wheel drive | Exotics | Fernandina Beach, FL
I think it could be a good driver as it is. Not original color, most the tools and receipts are missing and something funky about the speedo being changed. Needs full service too and probably use some suspension bushings and old hoses replaced. The usual stuff. One owner is cool. I would have been tempted in the $30k's but I think $49k is top dollar the way it sits. Besides I already have an 85 which is galvinized with original paint with all tools, jack, DOT papers, service records since new, CA registration and I paid half what he is asking. But that was last year. Someone should buy it and paint it back to brown. That would be cool.
'85 Red over tan. I have a 328 block in it, planning to put original QV back as I think about selling. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Marrone with the unique tan dash would make it one of the most beautiful (and rare) 308's around. If it were mine, this is certainly what I would do.
Just purchased #54001 from Orlando FL. Relocating it to Houston TX now, more info & pics to come soon. An 85, imported from Germany in April of 85 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
