Judging from the photos that were posted there was more body filler in the front end and right rear quarter then there was sheet-metal to slap it on. :)

    I think I found one...
    https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/ferrari/308-gts/1984/364976

This car may not be in the US anymore, however, it spend the majority of it's life here, so, thought it should be on the list for history's sake.

ZFFLA13B000050407: The 308 GTS QV offered here was ordered new by a prominent developer from Mexico. The car was imported to the US arriving in Houston, TX. From there it was sold in 1991 to a Houston, TX resident who also had a home in Laguna Beach, California. The car would go on to be with that same owner for 24 years.

Yep I added this on the last update (see above). Thanks anyway. Keep 'em coming. There's another on ebay right now, 83 in boxer trim, but it's now in New Zealand after spending most of it's life here. Decided not to add it as it's no longer in NA.

Euro QV's are the best. The car looks very clean and could be a 16k mi (or 16k km if just the face plate was changed like a lot of euros) but who knows. One year showed 100k more miles and is probably a mistake since I doubt they put that many on it in one year. I think the wheels are polished, not chromed, still not as good as original and they are 390's.

The seats look amazing. Could they be original? I haven't seen a cavalino on the headrest in color like that, I though they were all embossed.

Curious what it eaches since I have a very similar car except mine is already registered in CA. The listing doesn't say anything about it being titled in CA even though the dealer is there. I'm assuming Nevada title still.

Can't recall seeing polished 308 wheels. Not for me but it's looks pretty good. Not sure about the black cavallino in the head rests. I doubt it's original but it does look good.

I also like the absence of the rear roof spoiler. My car is being painted and I've decided to leave it off. Nothing wrong with a rear spoiler but it looks cleaner to me without.

I found the info on 46041 on the 308QV Register (no affiliation). I can't confirm if it's a US or not because I don't have the full chassis number, much less a location or owner. If the assembly number had an A next to it, are we for certain it was a US car?

    New Page 1

As for 51761, send me a link to that French QV register if it's online. Thanks.

More than the "A", it is more on the 78 that I based my deduction.
If it would have been a Euro car, this assembly should have been around 250 for a GTS.

There is also the "April 1983" date of manufacture which tilt for an American car. At the time of the post, it would have been not common to be so precise on an European car which has no doorjamb.

Concerning the French website, I am not the owner and I do not know him.
It is an old flash player website I can't send you the direct link to the page but as it is in French, let me write you the way from the first page:

    - Intro page, you can skip it clicking on the yellow link down right or click on the yellow car at the end of it.
    - On the bottom right, there is 2 cubes, you click on the top one "N° de Série"
    - Then on the new window, you click on the bottom right button named "Listing des 308 QV"
    - Then on the new window, you click on the right bottom button named "par N° de Série"
    - Then click on GTSi 1984 (mid button right column)
And you should be able to scroll down to 51761.

You have all the other number in your list, this one is much less complete than the real QV register nevertheless you have a lot of French cars the owners of which do not rarely communicate their number but we go away from the subject of the comment on this point.

There is some errors in that website especially concerning markets destinations so be cautious but as the informations on that car was precised, maybe it is the owner whom gave them.

Sorry for the explanation if you do read French but here it is:

I verified with former owner Fred Byram of Ga. that the car indeed is a european market car.

Then the information given on the assembly thread is wrong.
A Euro GTS QV can't have this number in the sequence (78), the chassis is surrounded with number which lets think rather of between 255 to 260.
If you know the owner, may I ask you to help on this ? Then maybe, you can add the information in the good thread about assembly sequence better than being off-topic here unless Thomas Magnum allows it...

My thread is informal. I had heard there were 100 or so Euro QVs imported to North America so I started out to verify that number. We've obviously found more.

With that said, I would like the information here be accurate as possible. Feel free to cuss and discuss about any and all Euro QVs in NA. I'm certainly not a moderator or forum police, lol.

May be the report on assembly number was just the # stamped on the front hood frame which might have been changed previously with a US one? Just some thoughts.
