Looks like 57369 will have to be taken off list. Should be on a boat to Taiwan in couple weeks. I've enjoyed my time with her. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
There is a QV for sale right now in Des Plaines at Jidd Motors which are not in your pdf. It is 55077.
Great find. Swiss car with less than 14k miles. Seems like a bargain. Ten cars later than mine, 55057. Thanks for the post. I'll add it to our list.
Great finding indeed! If it wasn't white, at that price you could be deleting it from your list again as I'd be bringing it back to Europe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Missed this earlier on You can add mine year 85 sn 57033 type gts red ext black int location Ottawa, Ont
Beautiful! Like the body color roof spoiler. Mine is being repainted and have decided to leave the roof spoiler off entirely.
Be mindful of implications - there are several threads and posts here about the importance of it (driving air towards engine compartment, cooling function, etc) You prob know this already but just thought could be worth mentioning Gorgeous car by the way!
Well, it was an option. My body guy and I are doing something creative to use the spoiler if/when I choose to, specifically at a concorso. I like it either way, on or off, but the VAST majority of folks I asked told me to leave it off!
Attached is an updated list. Now added is 59081, currently for sale at Gullwing Motors. They sent me a great link to a lot of detailed photos. Looks like that toolkit is complete with hard to find t-handle and emergency triangle. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gullwingmotorcar/sets/72157673502784955/ Keep the comments and updates coming. Sorry about the link. It works on my laptop but not my phone. Not sure what happened. It's on the Gullwing website. 1985 Ferrari 308GTS Quattrovalvole -
Yeah but same continent, lol. Several Swiss cars on the list. Maybe I should break them down into original markets? Hmm.
No, for me, it's just a variant inside a same version. It is later, in the middle of production of the 328 that the variant becomes true version ....
Mr. Magnum.... that is fun to write.... I have not looked at the Euro QV list in a while, I'm writing for a correction for my car #56297. The interior color is crema. I bought it in 2011 and have been enjoying it since. Absolutely amazing car to drive!! I now have almost 32,000 miles on it (averaging about 1,000 per year). Thanks for accumulating this list.
A follow up question. What kind of difference in value is there for a Euro over the US spec version? Im trying to validate my insured value. I couldn't find anything on this point in the market thread.
Not sure about overall value. If California is the largest US market for Ferraris, a euro spec car might be worth less there due to draconian emission requirements. Aesthetically, I think most folks prefer the look of a euro car. I'm sure someone may find the US bumpers more pleasing to the eye and I know there are a few who are adamant they provide better safety. All debatable and matter of personal opinion. Not sure that answers your question but a knowledgeable Ferrari appraiser should be able to give you the market analysis. I'll correct the list to reflect crema interior.
How about a Euro QV registered in CA since 1985. Since it's harder to find here to me it should be worth a little more. From what I have seen the US and Euro QV's seem to be pretty close in price. Condition, miles/km, and documentation are still key.
A Euro car that has spent its whole life in California is a different animal than bringing in one TO California and attempting to register/smog it, especially if it never had the emissions equipment to begin with. I guess anything is possible if you're willing to spend the money necessary but I'm sure some would find it cost prohibited. But I see what you're saying. A California registered and compliant Euro car could very well be worth more to someone in Cali who preferred the looks and had to have it.
I guess you have to take one out: Ferrari 308 2.9 (240bhp) GTS QV | eBay One German car which was in US arrived in UK....
