Hi Vasco, Sorry to reply so late, I had a training seminar for a couple of days. And yes, all spots on the streets, no dealership involved Munich is just one of Germany's best cities for nice cars (probably the best?) It might also have something to do with the attitude of our many rich residents: In Munich it's socially acceptable (and even expected?) to show your wealth, whereas in cities more in the north the rich people tend to keep a lower profile. Some time ago, a German magazine compared the big German cities by the amount of Porsches registered there versus the number of inhabitants. Munich was number one of all German cities here, no wonder with about 800 new Porsches sold by our three city-dealers every year! (1,3 million inhabitants). Same result with another test: No German city has as many convertibles per X1000 inhabitants as Munich. Some months ago, our local Ferrari/Lamborghini dealer announced in the press that already 100 F430s have been ordered, as well as 25 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadsters. I've kept a register on Munich Ferraris during the last 5 years that I've lived here and my educated guess is that there are about 650-700 Ferraris registered on M-plates! So, spotting should definitely stay interesting during the next few years Ciao, Lars
really wished I could make those at the moment, but no camera and driving in heavy traffic ... no pics
