Hi Jurgen, Not that sad... It's a race car,and race cars are ment to......race. Racing is a competion sport where damage is inevitable,or at least external signs that the car has a life(and a pedigrée)behind her wheels.... And if that paint scratch was made by,let's say,Paul Frère or Thierry Boutsen during a 24H race,wouldn't that be a nice story to tell 10 or 20 years later...? Or is there one only 250 GTO that has never been wrecked? No,I don't think so... But I fully understand your opinion:know that it is only because you see this racer on the public streets,it is psycological,if you'll see her in a pitlane,you would say WOW.... On Saturday in the Piazza di Spagna in Roma there was a red Ferrari F40 that rolled through. It was loud and gorgeous and the crowd loved it!
Hi Augustine. You over here in little 'ol europe? Hope you're enjoying it. Spotted 11th Nov in Hamburg by the Teufelsbrücke, dark silver 599GTB with german KS (Kasel?) number plate. The guy was stuck in heavy slow traffic. He held back till there was a 20 meter gap infront of him then floored it and braked hard. He was very frustarted, but the car sounded great. No photo I'm afraid
Hello Simon, Josie and I were just in Rome for the weekend. I surprised her with the trip and then proposed to her at the Fontana di Trevi. It was a wonderful trip! Next time I make it over to Europe (hopefully for a few weeks) I will get in touch with you and Wolfgang and the rest of the crew and hopefully we can all get together for dinner and drinks and fun!
