I just wanted to share my excitement with everyone regarding their 5 page write up and photoshoot about my XJ220S vehicles.

    http://europeancarweb.com/features/0505ec_xj/

Although I participated in providing the vehicles, I had no idea regarding the content of the article. It was just posted on their website today. I am very honored about the positive content and proud to own these supercars. The very same article is also in the magazine.

I have been getting an enormous amount of interest from several other publications and collectos regarding these vehicles. The exotic and collector car market is really heating up and it seems like the rarer the car, the more interest it brings.

Anyways I hope you guys enjoy the reading.

Let me be the first to say - congrats!!! Great article, and you must have a permanent smile owning not one, but two of these cars. I've only seen one in person (driving about .5 miles from my home), and that alone left me smiling for hours. Enjoy!!!!

    Vahe,
Congratulations. I'm enjoying the poster of your cars! :)
Now if only we can get you into a F-car, too....haha! ;)

This is the May edition, right? I'll have to stop by the newsstand and pick up a copy!

Vahe - great write-up. I first saw your grey car at the Village Coffee Roaster last year, and as my wife and I go to Pasadena quite often I point out the car at Rusnak every time we go by!!!

Again, congratulations on what really is a classy article on a very rare car - glad you get them out to share with the rest of us.

    Cheers
    Kevin

Dr. V, those are two awesome vehicles you've got. I saw the black car at Euro Sunday a couple of weeks ago and couldn't stop taking pictures of it.. my girlfriend even has it on her desktop!

I'm glad the XJ220 (in any form) is finally getting some good press! Congrats!

V- Kudos. Your supercars are amazing. The first time i saw the titanium metallic, i felt like a little kid it pure awe and bewilderment. On top of that you were cool as hell. Congrats, you deserve the press for all of your efforts. And, thanks for sharing with all of us, both in the mag and on the road.

Congrats Vahe. Having seen both in person, the pictures only tell half the story. Truly beautiful machines.

Thank you so much for all the good words guys. Isn't it amazing what the internet has done? It has brought so many car nuts together who share their feelings and sentiment about cars and get together for drives and car talk almost every weekend.

I personally have enjoyed every event with the ferrarichat friends and will continue to do so every opportunity that I get.

And Byron.......I do want some kind of an F' car back in my collection. Let's see what I'll come across.

P.S. I will do my best to show up for the St. Regis event and I'll see if Armen can bring one of his toys as well.

Remember.....One world, one people! Irregardless of ethnicity. All good people find one another as we have done so on these boards. What I like about the guys here is that they don't just buy cars and look at them. They actually enjoy them. irregardless of make or model.

I'm not a big fan of that magazine. VW's and 924 Porsches are what they are about. It's a ricer magazine for low end euro cars with K&N air filters and headers. I wouldn't put my car in there. They are very amature with a low budget style. R&T is the standard.

    Nice pics though..:)

If you actually look at their current issue, they have a modified Renntech SL, Many Porsche turbos and BMW articles. What sets this magazine apart from others is that they don't just concentrate on the new cars that every other magazine fights for being first to report. Kind of like the news on TV. Everyone rushes to report the same but tries to be first, leaving many important subjects out.

I have really enjoyed meeting the gentlemen involved with this project. Les is one of the best automotive photographers that I have come across. They actually concentrate and do many articles on autos that have been enhanced and modified or are unique.

Sometimes reading too much of Road and Track and Automobile magazine becomes redundant.

Don't get me wrong....What I'm trying to say is, you'r cars are too good for that magazine. I love the pics.....very nice. Did they give you copies of the proofs for poster sizing?

A great article about a great person (with some great vehicles)! Vahe, you are definitely one of the nicest exotic owners I've ever met. Thanks for sharing your passion with us.

And as you've mentioned about the Internet and f-chat, it was in fact you that mentioned f-chat to me at the Lamborghini club luncheon last year; and I've been hooked ever since. Thanks for that as well.

Great write up on great cars! I;ve always loved the XJR220.

We all heard the stories about the car...it was supposed to be offered with a V12, then it was a V6 twin turbo. Many buyers tried to back out of their deposits and some sued to be released.

That incident marred what is otherwise a perfect car...although these cars were to fetc $750K to $1million when new, last week in Autoweek, one was offered for $179,000...a steal for this legendary car.

No matter what transpired, these cars are beautiful and these examples are by far the best I've ever seen.

Congrats and keep us all posted on the cars' progress!

Today i went to my cousins house and he asked me if i wanted to see something really cool, so i said sure. He went in his room for a few minutes and runs out with a magazine in his hand, he flips threw the pages and hands me the magazine. I look at the picture in the article and i saw a picture of your two XJ220S's and i sorta started to laugh. He asked my why i was laughing but i just said, "Oh nohting...". haha. I just thought i would share that with you...

Congratulations on the European Car article. I've also seen your Murcielago and SE30 in front of that cafe on brand. You have an awesome collection of exotics!

    Vahe,
I just read the article for the first time! Thank you for sharing!

If you ever need a detailer to come by to take care of the Jags better than if they were my own, any day, any time, the pleasure would be all mine.

I know you enjoy doing it yourself, so if you would like a hand or someone just to take pictures, you know how to reach me. Just don't tell my clients. :D

    All,
Here are some pics from my personal collection I've accumulated. There are others I don't have out there that others have taken so if you have them handy, e-mail them to me! It includes several taken by Vahe and I believe either Ron or FerrariBoy.

    Time for bed,
    Sunny
